If it isn't 'calories in / calories out' I guess that would be the logical explanation for why despite caloric restrictions there remained so many pudgy concentration camp victims...

Any type of calorie ingested will switch off autophagy & by extension survival mode. It’s an all or nothing proposition. They confirmed this with Minnesota Starvation Experiment during WW2.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic but losing weight really isn't complicated, it's pure common sense... Any fight trainer or anyone else tasked with overseeing competitors or recruits 'make weight' would laugh at anyone overcomplicating this stuff...

Ha ! Pee Wee thinks it’s hilarious when someone over complicates something as simple as ‘eat less calories = lose weight’…. 🤓

Queued up @ 7:05.
Ignoring quality or presence of nutrients, .... listen to what he says happens when the ratio of ONLY macros is adjusted. Calories in - calories out is a simple answer that only considers temporary weight loss, not health, for those who are unable to think.
Like I said earlier, if you don't eat and you move more, you don't add calories to your body fuel supply and you are using more calories for energy so, yes, you will lose weight.
If that guy who ate McDonald's and lost weight continues to eat only MickeyD's crap, he will regain his weight within two years. It is unsustainable because he's receiving little, if any, usable quality nutrients, his body recognizes that and will force him to compensate by demanding that he eat, which his stupid brain will interpret as needing more crap "food" volume instead of adjusting the quality of his food to obtain nutrient density ..... or, in the case of fast "food", to obtain any nutrients at all.

If the emoticon gallery was working, I would post the Monty Python "this thread has become entirely too silly" emote. No point in continuing.

Right, why bother listening to FACTS when you can just simply live in your own fantasy world ?… 🥸 I guess someone like Stew Smith, who trains potential US military recruits for a living doesn’t know what he’s talking about either ? www.stewsmith.com/linkpages/loseweight3steps.htm

Don't brag about weight loss that results in being "skiny fat" (lost muscle is replaced with fat)

As per renowned military physical trainer Stew Smith, follow the advice below... ***Stew isn't just some guy with very limited knowledge debating on an obscure exercise forum, he just happens to do this stuff for a living. And very successfully I might add... www.stewsmith.com/Want to Lose Weight? Formula #1: Calories OUT > Calories IN = Weight LossThis formula is as basic as weight loss gets. Though there is much debate on this theory, I do agree that a calorie of carbohydrates does not equal a calories of protein. So not all calories are equal. You need to limit your sugar - NOW! If you exercise more calories than you eat at the end of the day, you will lose weight. Creating a calorie deficiency at the end of a day does not mean you have to starve yourself. In fact, decreasing your calories too much can have an opposite effect on the body and cause what I refer to as CAMEL MODE. Limit carbohydrates, increase protein and good fats for optimal results. The human body is built for survival and when we receive too few calories and not enough water, we can actually shut down our metabolism to a point where you will not burn fat and store water. So, you will not lose weight, but you could gain weight by the increased water retention. This is where Formula #2 comes into play: Water + Oxygen = Fat burning Basically, the body needs water and increased oxygen to burn fat as an energy source. The water intake should be anywhere from ½ gallon for women and up to 1 gallon a day for men. See this article in the StewSmith.com Article Archive if you are concerned about drinking “too much water.” As you add more water to your system, your body will be able to use the retained water for excretion, prompting almost immediate weight loss that is healthy. This is not the same as sitting in a sauna and sweating which actually DEHYDRATES you. Adding water will REHYDRATE you and enable the body to burn more fat (as long as you increase your oxygen intake by doing some form of exercise). Walking, swimming, biking, jogging, calisthenics, and even yard work can help with working your cardiovascular system. Remember, the key to any weight control program is adding water to your diet and developing a fitness plan that will help you add oxygen and burn calories and fat. This will produce the caloric deficiency needed to lose weight...www.stewsmith.com/linkpages/loseweight3steps.htm
