Great videos! I am guilty of over training biceps - my bad. Video is a good reminder of doing slower (pos. & neg. both same slowness) reps, I need to do this. One of fav., supposedly natural arms pics is of Melvin Wells. Always liked the peaks of him, Beckles, and Coe. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1251/9383/files/Melvin_Wells_Arm_Shot.jpgI usually do controlled reps on most exercises. I don't see the sense in rushing through something. I was just busting chops with the bicep thing. When I train arms I don't do much and I like things that are time savers like in those videos. I prefer to train my body with circuits, complexes, metcons, PHA, Chain Reaction Training, etc.... Nick Nilsson style is something I prefer.

I recently got access to my dumbbells again. I had them in storage for a few months while we were waiting to move into the new place. I had been doing mostly isometric routines but now I've got dumbbells in the workout again. I don't know what it is about my wrists but they really hate barbell curls and are not very happy about dumbbell curls but they are good if I start off in a hammer position and turn my wrist to a palms facing me position on the way up so I just do those these days.

It's not like I have big arms but when I was working with a trainer he sez wow man you have better biceps than most of my friends, I was doing the KB curls with the KB held outwards. I was working at a place and the boss pointed out to another bloke about my biceps saying something I forget now, something about making women swoon. It's not they're huge but have good definition. Anyway after watching that Bullworker bloke Clark Bartram I gave my arm workout yesterday a good blast.
I remember a bloke when I was working, he'd flex his bicep and say anyone want tickets to the gun show, no definition and he had a fat belly, and it was a time when I had a really lean abs. He wasn't impressing anybody.

I used to work with this dude who would occasionally tell the office staff, "I got pulled over on my way to work. They searched my car and found two guns and a six pack" then he'd do the classic bodybuilder flex . I don't know if he thought we'd forgotten the joke but he never got tired of telling it.

Do You generally have problems with Your wrists? Do You think it's because of Your work? I think because we are always gripping stuff all day that's one of the things that could cause that. I don't have any wrist dis comfort. One thing I concentrate on is opening the hands wide, shaking my hands out with my arms straight down, and working the finger extensors. I do this stuff when I have time during the day. I don't think You like doing grip and wrist stuff but wrist curls and reverse wrist curls whether isometric or higher reps have helped me also.

Do You generally have problems with Your wrists? Do You think it's because of Your work? My work doesn't bother my wrists. They only ache if I do things like straight bar curls and chin ups on a straight bar. The first time I ever did straight bar curls my wrists felt like I was forcing them into position to hold the bar and they never got used to it since then either so I gave up on them a long time ago.

My wrist have really good flexibility, I think mainly from 43 years of Tai Chi Chuan sword form practice done with each hand.

Not sure what caused it but a few years ago my wrists also started to hurt in the palms-in pullup position, same for curls or seated wrist curls. If I'm doing stuff with one hand it seems ok, I guess I adjust the angle a bit and maybe I'm able to sort of rotate the arm outwards more to adjust the palm direction without having to rotate the wrist further. Wide grip stuff is easier for the same reason.
