How it worked for me, for one, it has helped with my flexibility a lot. Also when I rehabbed my legs after walking again, the bridge helped me heal up. It didn't work for you, that's cool, those lifts helped you and that's amazing. I never got into those lifts and I never found them to benefit me. Just because it didn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for someone else, you know what works for you and so do I. We don't have to agree on what actually works. I've been through enough to know what works and what doesn't for me. My back got messed up because I made a mistake with a tool box and paid for it and now it has healed up. TR, you're a smart guy and you've been around far longer than I have and you've done your research and you have accepted what works, but so have I and I'm continuelly learning what can benefit me. Im not a lifter and I'm ok with that. So why not just agree to disagree. If something makes me happy and has helped me why not just accept it. I am postiing these suggestions because you've sharing workouts, exercises, etc., that have been discussed since at least 2000 on various boards and forums nearly all of us have part of -- Dragon Door, Furey's, Dave Walmsley's and Portal Guy's where just about everything under the sun for training came up including P90X, Animal Ability (AA), etc. And sadly, Peterson's... There are a couple of guys on the AA board that focus on these exercises (bridging, et al), but, most of us who purchased books like Combat Conditioning (myself included) and his follow on publications, etc., have learned a lot of it was hype regaring the miracles of the Royal Court, the claims about the exercises stretching your back or building strength were just that. The guy who was and still is the best of the best, in the opinion of many of us is Ross E...he walks the talk and doesn't hide behind "warrior" shtick. (There's a reason military organizations, sports teams, physical therapists focus on productive, functional exercises vs. hindu pushups or so-called bear crawls, etc.) There are guys on here like Macky, Whiffet, Bruce who have a wealth of information you could learn from. Macky's isometric information, Whiffet on BW + weights and diet, Bruce on strands, etc. When you come here, I'd look to them for (free training) ideas and programs, etc. And that's awesome. You also have certain beliefs you stick with and what you do to learn from. I've been on forums since about 2006-2007 and have learned a lot and picked up a number of things I still use today. Furey may have been hyped up and people moved away from him and his claims aren't always believable but that's fine. Combat Conditioning did wonders for me and it helped my journey amazingly. Like I've said before, I don't take everything fitness say at face value because I want to learn on my own what works, yes I'll listen and take a gander but in the end it comes down to what benefits me. Ross is a good guy and very knowledgeable, so is Furey, so is Pavel and many others. I have a stack of books from these guys and use the very best from them. I've learned a great deal from Bud Jeffries who I consider a dear friend and mentor. The "warrior" Shtick is just a part of something. My friends Tyler Bramlett from Warrior Made and Logan Christopher of Legendary Strength taught me a great deal too and are successful in what they. Im beyond grateful what they have taught me and shared with me. I owe my life to these two guys and they're amazing human beings overall. There's no magic pill or massive miracle but I do believe if it weren't for figuring out on my own how to apply these methods, I wouldn't be even close to being as strong and healthy as IAM now. I'm not perfect and I don't go by conventional standards and many can't stand that. I learn what I want to learn and nobody tells me what works and what doesn't unless it benefits me. I believe in intuition but I'm not stupid either. Thank you for your wisdom and suggestions.

Are You serious? Nice way to put someone down while making it sound like You're sincere. He's a troll. Just ignore.

You missed or ignored the point of my post: guys like Macky, Whiffet, Bruce, Billfish, Spuds, etc., etc., have "been there, done that".
They've learned and improved. Found better ways than the original claims or recognized the claims were BS. I love the Convict Conditioning book -- if I wanted to get into BW, to me this would be the entry book for training and I've given it to a couple of nephews to get them started with BW vs. the nonsense on the muscle sites and such. But, early in the book, there are the same lies such as those from your buddy over on that other site such as push ups heal your shoulders...no. They don't.
Exercise puts a joint and connective issue through wear and tear, unless you're talking isometrics and even then isometrics DO cause compressive forces in the joints -- again, contradictory to the bullroar on another site. Just do a deadlift or squat isometrically and see if there isn't pressure in your spine or even knees. Macky -- whom I consider far, far more versed on isometrics than me -- and I have had discussions on this and I believe he's in 100% agreement.
We've heard your story. We've heard about the so called "warrior" site with some guy sitting in some room and other people.
But are you asking Whiffet about his story? How he got so jacked? Ripped? The guy should be on the cover of Men's Health. Are you asking Billfish about his kick-ass training approach to include his BW and odd object training and boxing experience? How about MBS? The guy looks like Frank Zane without steroids. Have you asked him about his training or diet? Fastfor40 has run marathons, competed in bodybuilding competitions has great training recommendations. And JosefZ. The guy looks like the Wolverine in his photos and the results are from a pretty safe and straightforward workout. Michael...the guy's chock full of great advice and despite having suffered some serious injuries, this guy's ripped and out man-handling trees all day.
I've learned considerably from each of them.

Logan Christopher isn't he the guy who was selling the ant protein powder or pills several years back ? I know he was one of the worst podcasts Ben Greenfield ever had. He talked about drinking some herbal tea that made him vomit every day. Stupid. And he talked about all of his silly herbs that, as I recall, to the point even Greenfield was questioning -- especially when he was trying to brag about using flaming kettlebells...like that does a lot for your training.(Greenfield actually has a real education and walks the talk unlike Christopher.) And as usual BF, you're 100% correct...Ant Man...black ant extract!!! (aka more processed foods to rip people off with...) lostempireherbs.com/polyrhachis-vicina-black-ant-extract/(If I recall, Tim Ferriss also talked about grasshoppers and other bugs as food -- not extracts. You probably recall in the military during survival school bugs are a source of food...not bug extract. Geeze...) Christopher has a cult following, it appears...people don't seem to bother to ask real questions of the guy.

People like to try crazy stuff, to each his own. I use kettlebells and I sure am not trying to catch myself on fire. Plus if You get good kettlebells, that cost money, it makes no sense.
