Started trying this exercise combo which is a variation of a burpee but using more of the classic Indian Wrestling exercises. I do a basic version of this and not go so fast that form is crappy. My goal was to hit 25 of these in a row and ended up hitting 30. The ratio is a 1 squat, 1 pushup combo. Once I get use to it more I'll do no more than a 2-1 combo ratio. It's brutal but fun and if you're willing to go after it than make the most of it. If you're not up for it, don't do it. Great exercise to build lung power and strength-endurance. Here's how I do the 2-1 ratio with pushup handles. http://instagram.com/p/BtMwICOn0Ql

Dyno - I've been using the Perfect Pushup handles since the product was launched. Don't know the quality of the above recommended handles, but, the Perfect Pushup handle quality has been outstanding.

Matt Furey used to post workouts on his Forum (not a member any longer)...eg 50 Hindu Squats, 50 Hindu Pushups, Bridging for "X" minutes...great programs if getting good at these exercises is your goal. But, I found my strength levels declined (deadlift, squats, overhead press, etc.).

TR, Indian wrestlers use dands and bethaks to build stamina. To build strength, they use other training tools, such as weighttraining, partnered resistance training, isos, in various combinations.

Hi Ben,congratulations on your "brutal" partial Burpee Workout, very inspirational to see someone overcoming a condition.I've seen some posts about your medical issues, but havent seen you go into detail.I take it you have Prader-Willi syndrome. You are definitely one of the fittest, strongest and most articulate people with that condition that I have heard of.It is good that Katy Prices son isnt the only public face of Prader-Willi and that people realise that there are degrees to the syndrome.I bet you can probably do all kinds of "normal" jobs, working in Supermarkets and so on,especially now that work shifts are only a few hours a day.Congratulations again. It is a particularly unfair condition and everyone should appreciate that it is only luck that stops them from having that Chromosome defect. All the best.

Keep up the effort Ben. To me the Hindu pushup is the Judo pushup of old. A man named Kimura did thousands of them to develop his strength. He has a famous submission hold named after him. I wish there was a famous one called the John. Please post the classic Bruce on his front lawn if you must to illustrate my hold.

Are you serious ? lame attempt at trolling by pretending you think I was putting Harvey Price down because he has a more extreme form of the condition than Ben.I bet you are the sort who call Ben and Harvey Window Lickers and Poopy Pants, but you wouldnt dare say it to their faces. Ignore that guy Ben,just keep trying and know that not everyone is like Michael.

A medley of calisthenics provides a nice alternative to usual cardio workouts( e.g. running, cardio machines, ...)

Grunt shout out to you on what has become one of my favorite exercise combos of all time. You use a chinning bar, suspension trainer, or wooden closet rod hung with two of Bruce's iso straps (my preference). Then you do a chin squat combo. As you do them you can move the effort emphasis from either the chin or the squat. I think it works almost all the exercises of the body, and had a true cardio component. That and dips or pushups or DB bench presses and you have an almost completer workout. I try to do at least 100 reps slow. No magic in the amount of reps just feel that you have worked out. For some reason, I like to put on Steve Miller songs or a remake of Elvis a little less conversation and it psyches me up. I like a lot of Steve Miller but especially Jet Airliner and Space Cowboy. But you can use whatever you like.
