Those very fortunate souls of you who own the incredibly versatile and ingenious Sierra Isometric/Suspension Trainer, try this. With your strap anchored high, and with your densely padded comfort Hook Handles hooked into a couple of loops somewhat far back, take hold of the handles and lean back. Move your feet forward to get more body weight employed. Wrist curl the handles. You can easily adjust the resistance by leaning closer or further back. With this exercise you can rotate your hands into different positions, getting a feel for the most effective position. I personally find that wrist curls in the 20 rep range and more are just about right. I think that resistance that will only allow you to do ten reps, or so, is too stressful.

Here is something you can do that really makes these suspension wrist curls effective - let the handles roll out to your finger tips and then roll them back into the palms of your hands.

What about banded wrist roller: attach one end of a band to a metal/wooden rod and stop the other end with one foot, then do your reps, I think Fred Hutch spoke about it...as an aside, where is Fred?

You can even use these ideas to make an isometric strap. If You want to get all the possible angles You can make it 28',

Ugly well tied knots are suitable replacements for sewing . Webbing sliders can also replace sewing; moreover they provide quick adjustability .Rope can replace webbing for your adjustable suspension device ( hint use carabiners hitched tied to anywhere along the rope )

Hook the Sierra Isometric/Suspension Trainer at about face level, step back about 6', or so, and place your hands in a loop on either end. Lean back so that you are supporting your weight with both arms held straight in front of you. Now, lock your arms and pull yourself forward by rotating your locked arms out and back at a 45 degree angle to the floor. Flare out your lats as you do this. This will work the backs of your shoulders, your back, and your triceps.

This is one of the exercises the chiropractor gave me to rehab my shoulder but with cables. Never tried it with the Sierra isometric/suspension trainer. I'll try it tomorrow morning.

I had a lot of shoulder issues for a while and one thing I liked was "shrugs" with my arms reaching mostly upwards towards the top of the door frame. I think these sorts of exercises are more effective with bands/elastic resistance, that tends to make you feel like you are fighting it all the way.
