Just wondering? I did.
Mine was ham-centric. I did eat some good apple pie and a bunch of See’s candies. Ate some other atypical junk. I did the cooking and cleaning, my teenager restaurant skills are still pretty sharp 50 years later. Today is back to normal.

Currently fighting covid, so one plate of turkey and a few sides was plenty for me. I do have 4 cartons of egg nog calling my name, looking forward to enjoying it when I’m better.

Bummer, mrdave100, sending you well wishes for a speedy recovery and that you’re spared the wrath of long-haul COVID symptoms.

Thanks Ed. I’m feeling a lot better, the chills, fever, body aches, and fatigue have all subsided.

Took my gf and her two sons the rampart buffet.
Had prime rib ( was awesome), some veggies, a slice of pizza, lobster ravioli, and yes, some Christmas cookies. No foods were “ off limits”.
A very satisfying Christmas meal.

I always eat normally at Christmas. I really don't see the connection with baby Jesus' birthday and the need to binge on food. We went to my son in law's parent's house. I had some really nice beef that my son in law cooked and we took along a nice ham and brought most of it back as there was so much food on offer. We also brought back quite a lot of beef as it would have gone to waste.

Did our traditional meal at an old school style sit down and order Chinese restaurant. Nobody overate, and 3 boxes came home. Between that and the Christmas Eve standing rib roast meal leftovers, we are set for the rest of this week here, both lunch and dinner.

I always eat normally at Christmas. ........ Yeah, me too. Same as any other day. It was a good thing that I didn't over eat as my 18 month old grandson wanted me and him to take turns chasing each other around the garden. He likes roughhousing but unfortunately his mum and dad don't so he always likes it when I come around to play.
