No matter how good the X3 bar is, I would not pay the princely sum of 529 dollars, yes that's right. Go on the website and look. What a rip off and of course they say that you can attain a better physique and quicker with the X3.

I agree Keith. That's crazy money for something so simple. The Hook and cables are so much more versatile and priced just right. I do like Nick Nillson's videos.

I'm sure it works well but it's a hell of a lot of money just to get heavy resistance, which is supposed to be the advantage. You can already get flat bands with resistance going pretty high but the cheapest option is probably to buy your own springs.

The Hook and Bruce's cables and maybe a few of those big resistance bars. A fifth of the price or less, and Bruce's service and pricing is honest.
EDIT: I meant resistance BANDS, not bars.

That is way too expensive. I have this one . It is 26 dollars on Amazon. I have heavy duty home made one with thick wooden dowel with screw in eye hooks. I got this one because it packs well since it unscrews bionicbodygear.com/exercise-bar-bionic-body-bbeb-20/

You can get feedback from your Sierra Strap isometric contractions by anchoring the strap to a cheap analog bathroom scale . Feedback is a useful way to ensure productive effort especially using the 30-30-30 isometric protocol.

Just use the brain and self-resistance. This combination works great.

This is him before, midway and after. It looks like light manipulation/fat loss/after workout pump to me. I read months ago (I cite from memory) he gained like 20 or 30 pounds in that period, I don't see it. From his website: X3BAR CAN BUILD MUSCLE GAINS 3X FASTER THAN TRADITIONAL TRAINING. Yeah... Also, his idea about phase A, B and C sounds like a bad version of forced reps, I have consulted with a physiotherapist and it is not safe, could irritate tendon/ligament quite easily. He states from 15 to 40 reps. Last, but not least: m.facebook.com/dbhit/posts/2084798074917734

Agree. He had the good physique before his invention.

"Zones" eh? Well you could just do Brian Johnston's "zone reps" with weights, the HOOK, bodyweight exercises, or even a rock..works just great and it wouldn't cost you no 500 bucks either...just sayin'...
