Ok, thinking about getting Drew Baye's program this weekend, reading the workout and giving it a 30 day honest try starting Monday and then reporting the results.
Anyone else want to give it a try?

I'd be willing to do it with you. Let me know when you get it and are ready to start. Also let me know how you want to measure the results. I'll send my before picture. If I can improve on the picture I'd just took than the would be very surprised. I did buy the program because I was planning on doing it in December. Any advice that Silverlooks could give from his experiences would be appreciated. Anyhow, let me know Texas.

@silverlook Does Baye’s program rely on limb to limb (Classic) ISOs and/or does it rely on external objects too?
@tr,
What would your goal be? See if you get stronger in a lift? Gain mass...sculpt/def etc.
I was thinking this morning it’d be cool to do a program results comparison one person go for sculpting/def using 5-6-7, another using TSCs. Another test would be two people use both protocols and up the calorie count to see if they could gain Mass on them.

I advise you alternate between them with 2 days rest (minimum) in between, as I'm currently doing.

It's goals are strength/hypertrophy gains and cardiovascular conditioning. With Soly's 5-6-7 protocol you do 3 point isos, but with the TSC 30-30-30 protocol you do one point isos (midpoint of ROM).

"What would your goal be? See if you get stronger in a lift? Gain mass...sculpt/def etc."
My goal(s) are:
- Retaining my current strength levels. While the "skill" required to lift will need to be regained, if I can keep my current strength that'd be great. - If I can see some improvements in shoulders or arms, that'd be a plus...but not losing anything would be the second goal.
So, trying to go with some realistic goals -- no expectation for "off the charts" strength -- just keep what I've got. The sculpting, etc.? Diet...the traveling and meals with customers has been hell on eating clean, but, doing things where possible to make for better bad choices.
A plus? this would give my shoulders a break for a month.
Are we all in agreement Monday, Aug 20, as the start?

Hey silverlooks i see iso's work for you too ! What is a typical workout like for you and how long are your isometric holds ? I can answer that! Those same questions have been asked of Silvertoes multiple times and he's probably tired of answering. He does one isometric workout with 3 days recovery in between each. He does 8 isos on those days, each one at 30 seconds @ 50%, 30 sec @ 75%, and 30 sec @ 100%, i.e., 30-30-30. On the day directly in between his iso workouts, he does Kin Shi-Hai Do exercises

Would moderate deadlifts -- say 3 x 5 x 185lbs and some light KB presses be legal on one "off day" if others are doing things like VRT. Nothing heavy, nothing to failure, reps low.
