BTW, I don't currently eat eggs every day and when I do, it's usually 1 or 2 and occasionally 3 for the first meal.

It might also be worth noting that Vince ate plenty of green veggies and died of a massive heart attack after suffering TIA's and angina for several years.

Ketogenic dieting( high fat, modest protein, very low carbs) is touted by some gurus for its alleged anticancer benefits; I have more than an academic interest in this . Although challenging , a plant based Keto diet is possible; an added occasional fish meal would be less of a challenge .

I have one egg every morning for breakfast. I expand its size with some additional egg white. I like my yolk soft, too.

If you’re worried about cholesterol in the egg yolk there is no need to worry. University of Science studies have proven that nutrients within the egg yolks can actually help the body manage cholesterol intake. Vitamin B (particularly Riboflavin), lowers cholesterol levels, and Lecithin has been known to prevent the cholesterol from being absorbed within your digestive tract.
Thanks for the update, Country.

Nests are built high and away and hard to get to. Troof! Apart from waterfowl such as ducks, geese, swans, game birds such as quail, pheasant, partridge and then there are bustards, emus and ostriches etc.

I'm a big fan of eggs as a quick and easy meal. After a gym session, I always have egg and beans on toast. Egg poached in the microwave, cheese melted on the toast under the grill, served with lightly fried mushrooms and spinach. Yummy yum yum!

All this talk about eggs & such made me hungry early this am. I just finished steamed broccoli + 3 strips Oscar Mayer Natural Uncured Bacon (the best compromise I have and, besides, it was on sale @ Kroger. Don't have any freshly butchered bacon from my friends. ), 1 egg from barnyard chickens, Yoder's brand Amish horseradish, fresh smashed garlic & Himy Sea Salt. While the broccoli steamed, the bacon was poached and, when done, egg added and poached. Mixed in the garlic, added apple pectin & spread broccoli, bacon, egg & all, chopped up together, on Lundberg Wild Rice Cakes. Yummy! In all, I estimate the total amount of food fit easily into a 12oz bowl. (I ate some of the broccoli w/ horseradish & sea salt while I waited for the egg to poach.) I like to eat a few poached eggs after a bender - give my liver a work break and my body some rebuilding mat'l.

Bruce Lee would throw in a whole raw egg into a blender including the shell.

Died @ 79? Arnold must be due to kick off any time now .... Leading up to his death, Vince was in poor health for 4 or 5 years. Angina, TIAs, etc. Dying at 79? One grandmother died at 102, great grandmother (who lived on a farm) at 100 -- neither ate lard, canned their own veggies, ate little meat or eggs (costs from the depression dictated using these foods to flavor stews loaded with potatoes, etc.)...my uncle's 85 and is active, still driving and aside from a stent for prevent measures, is active. Dad did the military nonsense...smoked cigarettes, ate SOS and drank coffee with heavy cream and paid the price. Paul Becker's not correct. I was at Vince's Gym, had his pamphlets (they really did not qualify as books), talked to the man. Got me on dessicated liver tabs, his stupid diet and using his workout. By the end of the week, I felt like @#$%, my stomach was a disaster and I couldn't hang during PT. And here are are the facts: first, Vince advocated HIGH fat along with high protein. Whole egg = nearly 200 calories from fat, 110 from protein. He pushed Rheo Blair's protein powder which was high in fat and protein which was mixed with heavy cream. At least 65% of calories from saturated fats. (By the way, Rheo Blair aka Erwin Johnson, another sad figure in the history of bodybuilding, died of a massive heart attack.) Arnold's had heart surgery due to a defective valve (most likely due to decades of steroid use) and according to the website Quora, a recent claim came out he is juicing again. We don't know what other health issues he's got going and if he's on statins, blood pressure meds, etc. But we know other bodybuilders like Boyer Coe, Danny Padilla and many others from that era have suffered massive heart attacks.
