Of course, as we don't know what Sandow or Pandour ate! They ate the foods available during the time they lived. Wouldn't matter, the foods back then were more nutrient dense and cleaner than the same foods today. Duh. I'd have to say the "duh" falls back on you as usual. I'll provide a little education -- at no cost -- since you aren't up on your history, apparently: - There were no controls on food production back then. The government was completely absent from the feed lots, etc., and animals were fed just about anything. - Poisons of all kinds were used in slaughterhouses to control rodents and pests. - There was no guarantee what animals were and were not fed nor controls. So yes, it would matter.
