When I was in LA a couple of weeks ago and hanging around the Santa Monica's farmer's market on a Saturday, I tasted some vegan protein powder by Stout Nutrition. Vanilla, straight up, not bad at all. Promises to be vegan, gluten free, soy free, dairy free. (All good since that means it won't affect your IGF-1 levels like soy or dairy products.) Got a cannister and split it with some folks and put about 1/3 in a baggie to bring home. I'm sure TSA was having a fit when they scanned my suitcase. Had some this morning around 11am with my first meal...drank the blend and also had 1/2 a sweet potato, some raw veggies, a few pecans and one of the last organic pears we brought back in the suitcase (absolutely wonderful...). Flavor was still as good as I remembered and my arms swelled up to 22" relaxed within the hour. Sharing in case anyone's interested in options for meals, etc. www.stoutnutrition.com/

One thing I hate about many brands is the Stevia, makes them taste sickly sweet with a lingering aftertaste. Bought this link Vega One previously bought Vega Sport and Natural Factors unflavoured. Note: links don't show underlined, bold or anything else.

Note: links don't show underlined, bold or anything else. I've been making the linked text bold, italicized and a different color (blue/purple) just to make them stand out. I may have been able to show some underlined (can't find any example right now tho) by manually clicking the "underline" button on & then off ..... or was it off, then on, then off again .... hmmmmm ..... anyway, I didn't know while writing the post since it always shows underlined and I don't see it till I hit 'post'. Even so, this is light years better than that tap happy crap.

Had some this morning around 11am with my first meal Why would you need any? The other week you posted some info that said we only need .37 g of protein per kilo of bodyweight (Or have I got that completely wrong?). I don't know how much you weigh but you may have mentioned somewhere around 200 lbs (90 kgs approx.)? That works out at a little over 30 g of protein per day. That would be so easy to get from so many foods that I would have thought you would need to make a real effort not to eat more protein than that.

I'm probably getting around 80g/protein/day. I need a bit more than 30g as you can see from my picture...that is the result from all of my Weider training.

I'm staying with real food. This is used as a supplement to real food not a replacement.
100% WHEY – NO ADDED ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Whey protein peptides and isolate provide your body with the highest biological value (BV) protein fractions. BV is a measure of how much your body absorbs and retains – the higher the value, the more musclebuilding potential. This is why NITRO-TECH® WHEY + ISOLATE GOLD uses only ultra-pure, micro-filtered whey protein peptides and isolate. Each 2 scoop serving delivers 50g of protein, 11.2g of naturally occurring BCAAs, and 8.2g of glutamine and precursor to help build lean muscle and promote recovery.
