, I'll be like that horse after the third day. Lying in the snow passed out with no food in my stomach.

Chondroitin sulfate may improve healing and power generation in injured muscle tissue. In injured rat muscle, glucosamine and chondroitin have been shown to improve healing and power generation. This suggests that glucosamine and chondroitin may be useful for the treatment of muscle injuries in human beings. I dropping the aspirin & all inherent risks that accompany it & go hog swallow on this. A large cohort study indicated all cause mortality was reduced by 39% too! Chondroitin protects the cardiovascular system from mechanical damage and inflammation and reduces cardiovascular disease mortality by 65%. The average person would have to do about 5-8 hours of moderate intensity exercise per week to get a 63% reduction in cardiovascular disease mortality. ================ What Is Chondroitin Sulfate and What Are Its Effects? www.lifespan.io/topic/chondroitin/

My morning warm up routine in lieu of getting nookie. Good for connective tissue.

If you're not twisting, you're not exercising.

If you're not twisting, you're not exercising. So sayeth Pete Wagner? Personally, I think he's hitting the pipe a tad bit.

Michel Foucault was a brilliant french ontologist with influential & seminal works but much of his stuff has been shelved bcuz he was deep into drugs, suicidal, sadomasochistic & liked fisting. Still doesn't make him a bad guy or less an intellectual powerhouse but no one takes him seriously anymore either.

I don't believe I twist at all with my exercise. Probably not the greatest thing for a person, like myself, with back history to do.

These are some interesting comments, considering that everything that guy does in the Tai Yu video that moxohol posted is twisting.

Mikey, If someone likes doing something I'm happy for them but it's not for me. I actually liked his posts because I thought what he said was funny. If someone does twisting stuff and works for them great. But having been diagnosed with almost every disc in my lower back as herniated and two fractured vertebrate twisting is not something that works for me. I've stayed operation free on my back since 2007 and I want to keep it that way.

The purpose of the torso muscles is to keep the spine mostly neutral. U only have 15 degrees of actual traverse in the spine anyways. Extended traverse is from the hips & shoulders. Twisting should never ever be forced. Even I avoid certain exercises because of injuries. I'm sure Michael has a trunk that would make Bruce Lee envious & ditch his nun-chuks.

Because I've listen to TR about Stuart McGill'S concept's and exercise I've had no pain or back incidents in Years. I always Thank TR for pounding this stuff in my head. By the way, I just watch that video You posted and there isn't much if at all twisting. I always get a laugh reading Your post. Any way I copied this from a website that someone wrote and this link was in it. " For example, flexion-intolerant backs are very common. Stretches such as pulling the knees to the chest may give the perception of relief (via stimulation of the erector spinae muscle stretch receptors), but this approach only guarantees more pain and stiffness as the underlying tissues sustain more cumulative damage. Eliminating spinal flexion, particularly in the morning when the disks are swollen after bed rest, has proven very effective with this type of client. Realize that the spinal disks can bend only so often before damage ensues. Reserve the bends for essential tasks, such as tying shoes, rather than abdominal training. McGill believes there is a tradeoff between strength and flexibility in the spine, because stretching works by making the annulus between the discs more gooey, which makes it perform worse under load. If you plan to load the spine and are exercising to build sufficient muscle to lock it in place, you can train oblique strength without twisting by doing asymmetric carries such as farmer's walk." www.ideafit.com/personal-training/the-painful-lumbar-spine/

Yeah. Stuart McGill is a canuck BTW & I swear by his "Big 3" when I blew my lower back out during missionary sex. I really got extra mileage working my glutes hard to take that load off my back. Now, I have an incredibly sexy ass that attracts both genders at the gym. @¿@ The video I posted is what I use for neuromuscular re-education. I don't use everything in it. I cherry pick what applies to my needs. I'm only a fanatic about fasting as u well know. I'm flexible about training though. I'm constantly changing up my training schedule if u haven't noticed by now. The whole point is to get my ass MOVING other than have it nested in the sofa like a robin all day while working away on my laptop.
