With the new year, I took stock of some areas of my life, diet/exercise being one of them of course. I am reading some book by Dave Asprey the supposed inventor of Bullet Proof Coffee. I realized that all in all, I'm not doing that bad. Some days I go off the rails, and then other days I reel it back in and stay pretty good. I tend to do EITHER a ketogenic day or an intermittent fasting day, so overall I think it's worked okay. The main thing I want to stick to in 2024 is trying to skip dinner 90% of the time. I start every morning with some form of bulletproof coffee, which extends the period of the "fast" without raising my glucose. In addition to that is cutting grains almost entirely. Those two things alone should payoff in better health. I think health is more impacted by what we can avoid than necessarily what we consume, but making strides in both directions is key.

Good to avoid refined carbs and sugar too, but you likely know that.

Capt — when you do Keto does your blood pressure go down? I know you mentioned before that it is around 140/90 normally.

Unfortunately, I have never noticed a drop in my b/p, no matter what I've done. I have on occasion even taken a Cialis AND a Viagra when I wanted to put on a show, next time I do that I'm going to take my b/p. If that doesn't lower it, nothing will.
