MasterBlaster in the Mad Max Thunderdome film is like little Benny and J.P.Except J.P is shorter and Benny is more of a slob than a guy who trains.

Ha! Yeah, I figured you'd say something like that at some point. Why bother to use it in the most comfortable and easiest way, the way it was designed to be used? So, you have no intention of buying Bruce's Suspension Trainer, Hook handles and Door Anchor, do you? (That's another assumption) And, if you do, you won't experiment with it or use it any differently than a length of seat belt webbing, rope, chain or plain cargo strap? Instead, you will hide it's origin from JeP? Speaking of assumptions, I can only find one in that post I made, which I clearly stated was an assumption: "You seem to perceive yourself as an expert - at least, that's the tone of your writing/preaching?" That's how your writing has impacted me and it's feedback for you. Your behavior forms everyone's assumptions about you. It's what you write, it's how you act, it's what you post that determines the assumptions. I have welcomed you twice here already. What others say about you carries little weight with me. It's you who make the impression, but you don't care what impression you're making - at least, not here on this forum: This may to be true here, but only, on this forum. You do care about JeP's reactions though, don't you? Otherwise you wouldn't feel the need to hide the Sierra Suspension Training System from him. Although you have no control over people's ultimate conclusions or responses, you have a huge influence on what they assume. You judge yourself based on your personal intentions as you perceive them. Others judge you based on your behavior. This is how humans work. Everyone does this. If you don't like people's perceptions of you, change your behavior. It's useless to whine about it, to ask people "do not assume" or to make "it's who I am" excuses. Actually I do have intentions. I'm not getting today or tomorrow but soon yes. Yes I would do some of the exact same things but would also experiment as well, always learning, when I'm bored doing the same things I'll switch it up, that's what I do or what anyone would do. If my writing has impacted you, than something is working otherwise you would be ignored it. Quite frankly, assume what you will. But if you feel something is off with me and you want to tell me about it, I'm sure you will or ask me about something you wish to know. Do I care what John thinks, yes and no in a sense yes because I value his input but at the same time, no because he knows ill tell him exactly how it is. Whether I tell him or that forum about other equipment I use is up to me and only me. I've talked about the equipment I use there a while back and never got any heat (bad rap) about it and never was asked about being cautious or anything. Make your assumptions based on what I do and if you have a problem with me all you have to do is talk to me about it or don't it's up to you. Either way, man, I'm going to do what makes me happy and share my passion and my enthusiasm, how you take it is on you. Nice paragraph sandwich.

I only watched it cause it was like a bad car wreck, you know it's wrong but you can't look away. The things they got away with were pretty crazy.

Ben, I recommend sierra's isometric/suspension strap coupled with the Hook and a bar (a small pullup door bar will do).
The loops in the strap allow you to put your feet inside so no slipping/position shift takes place and also makes going from exercise to exercise and from one position to another a breeze.
Also, it is durable and Mr Tackett always stands by his products.

Not too much, arm wrestling pulls, deadlifts, curls, things like that. I don't focus on them too much and just go with what I feel like doing. Most of my grip training is doing various things like sledgehammer work training every now and then, moving my 70 lb kettlebell, using fat gripz for the TNT Cables and hanging/pullups using fat gripz.
