Every time my muscle grows in my sleep, I end up with sticky boxer shorts.

Thread title: Muscle Growth while Sleeping. Do muscles grow while we sleep? Yes, that's my understanding. The body is rebuilding tissue at all times and more occurs during any rest, but during sleep is an obvious and natural time for much muscle rebuilding to occur.
However, it sounds like ya'll are equating muscle growth with pump? ...... But then, you claim there is no growth from the pump?
We already know that "pump" is NOT muscle growth. It's just faux, temporary muscle "growth" appearance due to fluid influx, and such, right?
This is a very confusing thread. I may need to just ignore it.

This is a very confusing thread. I may need to just ignore it. Sorry we're taxing your delicate brain tissue. It's simple. After a weight/band workout, my arms are x in size. The next morning they are x-1/2" in size. After a KSHD workout, my arms are x in size. The next morning they are x in size.

Your muscle did NOT grow actual new muscle tissue overnight while sleeping to the tune of 1/2", I don't care what exercise you did. So no, there is no actual muscle tissue growth either way. It's only a temporary appearance.

I have you know I do not pump myself in my sleep, I have to be awake for that.

I don't know how I can make it any more simple than this. Actually, I should have used x for one and y for the other. So.... After a weight/band workout, my arms are x in size. The next morning they are x-1/2" in size. After a KSHD workout, my arms are y in size. The next morning they are y in size.

Is y+1/2" or just the same as x-1/2" and if y is +1/2" then buy doing it 3 times a week y would get +1/2" bigger each time and then after 2 weeks y would be 3" bigger. Going by what you say.

I'm just concerned that at this rate people are going to seriously injure their biceps while sleeping.

Hey IDK I just use my muscles the old fashion way, like lifting boxes for 8 hours. I do not gain 1/2" every time I do it, I am still trying to figure out what co-contraction is. I still think muscle tensing is muscle tensing yes it works, for pumping up muscles that is why bodybuilders use it, but then most of them use weights etc..... to get their strength and size. As far as I know their is a difference between normal muscle size and the pump, but I am no expert.
