Obviously depends on personal circumstances but I would say it is worth $83. A while ago I looked into it and it seemed like Russian or Eastern European websites were selling them for about half the price they sell for in the UK.
When I got into the high-rep wrist curls I started using the bison less often, but at a higher strength setting. When I get back into nail twisting I will probably phase more bison work back in.

Cheapness , weakness, and the negative Amazon reviews have primed me into hitting the bypass key

...ok, there was "one left" for $99 but fulfilled by Amazon here in the U.S. and it'll be on my doorstep in a few days, it isn't being shipped from Minsk where every other purchase option seems to be coming from. I'll report back after playing with it a bit but pretty sure it's gonna fit nicely in my morning coffee routine

BTW, my Bison 1-M will be here on Wednesday.... YAY About time for you to buy another warehouse to store your fitness gadgets. Can you imagine your holdings if you hadn’t had the big loss years ago from the big flood? Can’t remember the details but it was sad.

Can you imagine your holdings if you hadn’t had the big loss years ago from the big flood? Can’t remember the details but it was sad. I was able to salvage a bunch of stuff from the flood, as a matter of fact the first thing I grabbed out of the garage to take with me was all of my kettlebell's. Funny thing is I had to rent a place in the interim until I found another house to purchase, and the real estate agent I used and the landlady were both Russian's. When I was moving in some stuff the real estate agent stopped by and saw the k'bells. He was like "how you know about these ?".... ***It took a long hard fight but I ended up selling what was left of my house to the state for full market value on the day of the storm.

Just picked up my Bison at the post office and am playing around with it now.
The build quality is decent. It is heavy, made of steel. The handles are wood, which makes me think of the kind of fitness devices or handles you might have purchased before plastics became the go to for such things.
The Bison comes with a single page chart of exercises with really small line drawn images of various moves that can be done with the device.
I am getting the hang of adjusting it and it is relatively straightforward. Seems like you could adjust it from pretty much no resistance to unmoveable. It also could be used for an upper body cardio movement a bit like what you can do with one of the burn machine type devices. These kinds of motions could be done while holding in front of the chest or overhead, etc.
I am into having some really strong hands and forearms so this should be a great tool and should work well in conjunction with the Sidewinder Pro I've already got.
The manufacturer recommended lubricating the ball and socket joints with a single drop of oil each.
If this thing holds up it seems like a decent buy for $83 shipped, though it doesn't match the value I've received from buying an ISO7X for $13 shipped a few years back.

Thanks for remembering me Mag, appreciate it but I’m going to pass. I recently purchased a pair of 16kg KB so I can do some volume double KB snatch work. I’m working on being able to do a 10x10 workout. Meanwhile, my 15-lb. slam ball collects dust from not being used to its full potential. With an Asian Squat Journey and a Burpees 2021 Journey in progress, I’m tapped out at the moment. Maybe later in the year. There’s always a deal to be had if you frequently hunt for it. Thanks again.
