Practical, functional strength is such a relative thing. Of course someone whose work involves lifting heavy objects through the course of the day, day after day, will be stronger than I am. I just do the best I can with what I have, which just happens to be the most advanced and efficient training equipment in the entire world, reasonably priced and available from Sierra Exercise Equipment

You weren't wrong, Seekietoes. Any information posted on this forum is appreciated. Does the study you posted, in fact, validate your training method? No. The studies didn't set out to prove or disprove that dynamic muscle tensing exercises build strength. They did not test dynamic muscle tensing exercises. The studies tested isometric exercises only.
