Figured I'd come back just for the hell of it. Been doing a lot of different things lately, lost weight, working on various systems and having fun messing with my new 70 lb Sandbell plus these resistance bands called DopamineO that are geared towards those in Amateur Wrestling, MMA, BJJ & Judo. They helped me get over a sciatica injury back in September.
I know some of you like to take shots at me just to get a good laugh, at least there's something interesting that I do. However, some things I have evolved with and gotten stronger in some areas and built better stamina using deck of cards workouts.
May post from time to time but hey, some of you don't like me...GOOD!!! I must be doing something right.

The more it irritates u the more fun for the others. Remember, there's not a shred of evidence to support that life is serious at all. So it's up to u to make the most of it (but do nix the chimp walk. It does look retarded. Just sayin?)

Welcome back, Benny m8.
The chimp walk video was an instant classic. It should never be deleted.
Sciatica is horrid. I used to get it years ago. I'm not sure but I think what might have brought it on was doing too many things like crunches that caused in imbalance and then the sciatica would get me when I was bending down.

I've gotten better at certain things since then since that video was posted what 3-4 years ago?

Mine was from a stupid move with the Darth Vader Kettlebell going down a couple of steps. Something didn't click right and I was dumb enough to ignore it. The final nail in the coffin was doing hill Sprints and almost rolled over in pain in a ditch. Luckily I was near my house so I walked back but it was agonizing and stayed like that for almost the whole summer. Once it was over, I kept things on a leash, not to the point of being overly cautious but keeping an eye on it.

It's no chimp walk but I like to think this works like a charm (it is a demo after all). www.instagram.com/reel/C1IxKG9LYUj/?igsh=MTNwd205cXlsemdqNA==

Stomach vacuums: Feet spaced slightly more than shoulder width apart. Hands placed just above the knees. Back str8. Suck in the gut. Press down harder for more intensity & hit the lower abs. Several times a day.

Hello Ben,
Sorry to hear of your sciatica. I had that myself about 15yrs ago, while I was carrying the breakfast tray in from the kitchen. Well, that’s not what caused it (excessive isometric back stretching to be honest) but that’s when it “went”.
I hobbled in to the physiotherapist but walked perfectly afterwards 👍
Stomach vacuum has kept my back free of problems. Every time I try the “power breath” (either Pavel or Farmer Burns/Matt Furey) it goes ok for a bit then the warning pain starts to appear again 🙁
Hope it clears up for you.

It did, thanks to the DopamineO Band I use, those to me were a godsend. They may not seem like much or look like they do anything to work the muscles but they worked like a fucking charm man. I'm hooked into this thing and it has given me my conditioning back. I love it.

Well hot diggedy damn, jabronies, 'old carlson heard a vaguely familar siren call from across the salty brine and I had to make haste to the nearest wireless handheld communication device to post this very welcome. Fortune shines on me as one of the lads here in the Buccaneer's Balls recently aquired such a contraption from a misfortuned merchant sailor - who no longer has a need for it it (or air for that matter, he hehehe!)
So bendy boned bruiser, big boy Benny chimp walks his candy ass back into the fold, what strange and uncanny times we live in! Well ventured Ben lad, let the good times roll, sir!

with the symptoms I had, def sciatica. The only training I could do was stretching and very light movements. Don't know how I managed it but I did.
