I believe all the supposed benefits of veganism can be attributed to the fact the body is in a state of semi-starvation, apart from the caloric aspect. It's starving for meat and fat and is basically just benefitting in the same way an intermittent fasting regimen would provide.

www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/1545608/how-to-live-longer-anti-diabetes-cinnamon-longevity/amphydralongevity.com/pages/cinnamon"It appears to work as an anti-inflammatory or antioxidant, protecting the body on a cellular level from bad things that happen," Wright said, "by getting rid of waste products and keeping the cells healthy." Using a computer model, biochemist Stockert found that cinnamon was as effective as resveratrol, an antioxidant in red wine known for anti-aging and disease-fighting properties, in activating SIRT-1 -- also known as the longevity gene because of its role in repairing DNA. "In some cases, it did better than resveratrol," Stockert said. "We're talking anti-cancer, anti-aging, a very, very big deal if that is what is going on."

Cinnamon has been touted as a powerful health supplement for many years. The rumours were of workers in the cinnamon packing warehouses remaining remarkably free from the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic. According to analysis of the records and reports from different sources, the “mileage may vary” on the historic anti-influenza powers of this spice, but there is plenty of evidence that it does more good than harm - unless one is stupid enough to shovel spoonfuls of dry cinnamon powder down the throat for a TikTok challenge. I do wonder if this history of medicinal use is why Frank Herbert described “spice” in his Dune stories as smelling or tasting like cinnamon? news.cnrs.fr/articles/dissecting-the-spice-of-dune

Good to know, I have had cinnamon on my “bulletproof” coffee every morning for at least the last 7 or 8 years.
I’m a fan of Sinclair, also the “tech guru”reminds me of Christian Bale in American Psycho, but if he’s willing to do all that it’s interesting to observe. No worse than women injecting shit into their tits, ass, and lips to artificially appear more attractive or dudes juicing the roids.
As for the YouTube video Bruv posted, it’s hard to convince me humans should be eating every 3-4 hours. Nowhere in our evolution have we had that kind of access to a protein source. Most of the longevity guys push plant based diets, whereas my diet is probably 75% meat, so I may not be doing too bad on the protein.

Immortality aside, Bryan Johnson's discipline is admirable . My descent application of discipline is used to become more anti-fragile .

These studies that say we need to eat x number of grams of protein to maintain or build muscle…not sure I buy that. I doubt any of us here are eating our body weight in protein grams daily, yet when you look in the mirror do you look like a tiny version of yourself at 20, or do you still basically have the same or even more muscle? I hung out with some old buddies last weekend and nobody got puny though some of the guts have grown substantially 😂

IMO, the best and most helpful part of that Dr Brad Stanfield vid begins @ 11:50, the five guidelines.

They failed to discern the good from the bad cinnamon here. Cassia is the chinese cinnamon more commonly sold in stores which has coumarin. The EXACT same active ingredient as in Warfarin the prescription blood thinner. Too much of it can harm yr liver. Buy the true or ceylon (“By your command”) cinnamon. It’s more expensive but sweeter, more aromatic & has negligible traces of coumarin.
Cinnamon has the highest per capita of oligomeric proanthocyanidins than any other foodstuffs. I religiously add cinnamon to my dark cacao & chia seed mix for breakfast. U really feel the difference too.
