Pierini Fitness training 3/6/2020 Morning BW = 169.6 lbs.
Fasting period - 6:11 pm to 1:26 pm = 19 hours 15 minutes.
Workout - Park near office 12:24 pm -
#1 - burpees x 5 plus two-hand 24kg KB swing x 15 for 10 rounds completed in 13:24 equals 50 burpees and 150 KB swings - average HR = 156 bpm (87 percent) maximum HR = 167 bpm (93 percent) total 157 calories. Note: Unlike my typical preference, I varied on my time interval from a low of 1:10 (9th round) to a high of 1:33 (8th round).
#2 - HRR analysis - start of workout 111 bpm - end of workout 166 bpm - 1:00 = 150 bpm (16 bpm lower) - 2:00 = 131 bpm (35 bpm lower) - 3:00 = 117 bpm (49 bpm lower).
Felt good to get a fresh air outdoor workout.

Pierini Fitness training 3/9/2020 Morning BW = 169.2 lbs.
Workout -
#1 - Office 6:40 am when I arrived and before having the benefit of my morning cup of coffee - pull-up hang hold 1:40 and handstand against wall hold 0:35 (bad hand placement, wrists were killing me, had no choice but to come down, rusty.)
#2 - Park near m office 3:45 pm - burpees x 5 every 0:50 for 20 rounds equals 100 burpees in 16:04 - a gentleman's burpees workout pace - average HR = 154 bpm (86 percent) maximum HR = 169 bpm (94 percent) total 174 calories.
Saturday 3/7/2020 was a rest day - my morning BW was 169.1 lbs.
Sunday 3/8/2020 was also a rest day - my morning BW was 168.4 lbs.

Pierini Fitness training 3/11/2020Yesterday, 3/10/2020 was a rest day; my morning BW was 169.7 lbs. Today, my morning BW was 169.7 lbs. Workout - #1 - Office 7:20 am - single set of pull-ups x 14 and single set of bar dips x 25. #2 - 28th & C Street Park 3:44 pm - burpees x 5 for 20 rounds then walking recovery, going by feel for round time interval equals 100 burpees in 14:13 - average HR = 163 bpm (91 percent) maximum HR = 174 bpm (97 percent) total 170 calories. Time intervals ranged from low of 0:37 for 9th round to high of 0:50 for 8th round - final 17th round for burpees x 15 took 1:46. #3 - HRR analysis - start of workout 106 bpm - end of workout 174 bpm - 1:00 = 165 bpm (9 bpm lower) - 2:00 = 157 bpm (17 bpm lower) - 3:00 = 146 bpm (28 bpm lower) - as evidenced by this recovery, today was a hard burpees workout, I seem to do better with a fixed time interval. Like a machine! Good job on the weight, it's staying steady. Question, When You're saying,"bpm lower", that's lower than the last time You did the same workout?

Pierini Fitness training 3/12/2020 Morning BW = 168.0 lbs.
Fasting period - 5:49 pm to 1:18 pm = 19 hours 38 minutes.
Workout - Park near my office 12:20 pm - Power 5 with 20kg KB (swing x 5, snatch x 5, clean x 5, rack squat x 5 and overhead press x 5) right side and swing switch each KB exercise before moving on to the next one) equals one round every 3:50 - completed 5 rounds in 17:35 - average HR = 158 bpm (88 percent) maximum HR = 170 bpm (94 percent) total 211 calories.
Compare to last time on 1/25/2020 of 18:25 and lifetime best on 11/1/2014 (age 59) of 12:27 (a time I'll never ever do again.)

Pierini Fitness training 3/13/2020 Morning BW = 168.5 lbs.
Workout - Park near my office 2:33 pm - burpees x 6 EMOM for 20 rounds equals 120 burpees in 19:26 - average HR = 159 bpm (88 percent) maximum HR = 171 bpm (95 percent) total 230 calories.
Planned on doing more rounds but realized this was good enough. I don't have to kick my @$$ every time I step up to the fitness workout plate. I've got room to relax.

Park 12:10 pm - run 6.0 miles in 1:05:05 - average HR = 155 bpm (86 percent) maximum HR = 173 bpm (96 bpm) total 763 calories. Compare to last run on 2/23/2020 of 6.0 miles in 1:04:15 - 0:50 faster and better HR stats.)
HRR analysis - start of run 98 bpm - end of run 166 bpm - 1:00 = 146 bpm (20 bpm lower) - 2:00 = 128 bpm (38 bpm lower) - 3:00 = 117 bpm (49 bpm lower.)
3/16/2020 - rest - morning BW was 169.1 lbs.
3/15/2020 - rest - morning BW was 170.0 lbs.
3/14/2020 - rest - morning BW was 169.2 lbs.

#1 - burpees x 5 then walking recovery EMOM for 30 rounds equals 150 burpees and 0.90 mile in 29:14 - average HR = 148 bpm (82 percent) maximum HR = 166 bpm (92 percent) total 319 calories.
#2 - HRR analysis - start of workout 113 bpm - end of workout 166 bpm - 1:00 = 156 bpm (10 bpm lower) - 2:00 = 141 bpm (25 bpm lower) - 3:00 = 127 bpm (39 bpm lower.)
3/18/2020 was a rest day - morning BW was 167.5 lbs.

Workout - Backyard 3:22 pm - burpees x 5 plus two-hand swing with 24kg KB x 15 every 1:30 for 10 rounds - completed 50 burpees and 150 KB swings in 14:23 - average HR = 143 bpm (79 percent) maximum HR = 161 bpm (89 percent) total 148 calories.
Note: Perceived effort felt greater than HR stats.

Morning BW = 169.0 lbs.
Workout - Park 11:11 am - burpees x 5 EMOM waking remainder of 1:00 for 40 rounds equals 200 burpees in 39:19. No Garmin HR monitor today, accidentally left at home - extrapolate average HR = 152 bpm (84 percent) maximum 171 bpm (95 percent) total 329 calories (used 3 percent more than 150 burpees workout on 3/19/2020) - good enough.
Spring 2020 is here. I’ll soon give an update on how I did with my Winter fitness goals - hint, not good. I’ll also share my Spring 2020 fitness goals.

Three burpee sessions in a row, Good job! I really like the burpee/swing workout. I have done something similar in the past. Thought about doing it this morning but after waking a little sore from tree work I decided against it.

Three burpee sessions in a row, Good job! I really like the burpee/swing workout. I have done something similar in the past. Thought about doing it this morning but after waking a little sore from tree work I decided against it. Burpees x 5 and KB swings x 15 with a 24kg KB is taxing for me from round 10 forward with 1:30 time interval. The swings gets harder than the burpees as time goes on.

Morning BW = 168.4 lbs.
Workout - Backyard 4:04 pm - Single 24kg KB clean and overhead complex - (1) dead clean and strict overhead press R + L then (2) swing, clean and overhead push press R + L and finally (3) swing, clean, rack squat and overhead jerk R + L equals one round every 2:00 - completed 8 rounds in 14:58 - average HR = 151 bpm (84 percent) maximum HR = 221 bpm (obvious an error?? Spike at 12:22, otherwise max was 163 bpm (91 percent) total 170 calories.
Note: This was hard - 5 years ago and 20 lbs.heavier, I’d complete 20 rounds in 30 minutes.
This is what I did:
Sunday 3/22/2020 was a rest day - morning BW was 167.5 lbs.

Morning BW = 168.5 lbs.
Workout - Backyard 1:25 pm - burpees x 5 EMOM for 16 rounds then 20 fluid fast (in 1:07) to finish equals 100 burpees in 17:07 - average HR = 146 bpm (81 percent) maximum HR = 170 bpm (94 percent) total 188 calories.
Note: Sore from yesterday; maybe should have taken rest day.
