I say get rid of the guest option and let this forum have a proper death already. Why don't you just leave and leave it at that ?

Dott: U are a most pretentious & superfluous asshat if I ever saw one? If anything, u eschew alot of misplaced circumlocution for this type of venue. You’d be better off served visiting a #philosophy channel on DALnet to fulfill that boorish need inside u to feed off of as it has no relevance here.
...and just like the majority of pretentious & superfluous asshat 'pseudo intellectual' pretenders that I've run into out in the wilds of the real world, he's pretty much all talk, and totally useless / clueless at most anything else. I thought the way I addressed it was pretty eloquent even I say so myself? Especially the Special Olympics remark. I need more psilocybin.

I say get rid of the guest option and let this forum have a proper death already. Ok, request approved *Although we aren't communists here, so the 'guest option' removal will apply exclusively to your particular circumstances and no one else...

When a NYC libertarian with socialist leanings performs acts likes a Communist -- they're a C___un__t. Interesting... Did you know that the use of the term libertarian to describe a new set of political positions has been traced to the French cognate libertaire, coined in a letter French libertarian communist Joseph Déjacque wrote to mutualist Pierre-Joseph Proudhon in 1857 ? *No ?....well now you do !

Speaking of homemade exercise equipment (not sure if anybody actually was, I saw the odd 'asshat' and pseudo-intellectual'), my latest is quite simple (they usually are) - a calf raise block made with a cylindrical 16 inch piece of timber (from an old garden swing frame), ended with two short rectangular blocks to preven movement. Calf raises feel pretty good on this one.
The previous most recent makes are supports for an empty barbell that raise it off the floor and allow me to practice balancing on it, either with a homemade balance board or just stood on it. Prior to that an extra high fixing for an empty bar (removable) for hanging stretches ( my chin up bar requires bent legs, not so this new one. A plate loading rig for suitcase holds etc was before that and a sturdy, 2 anchor point isometric board along wuth a pendulum squats set up preceded that.
Nothing too fancy and certainly not technical but all serve me well, and not an asshat in sight when I train in my garage ( unless carlson turns up of course)

Since I have this video copied already, I'll drop it in here too. Matt Schifferle, Red Delta Project, DIY suspension device
As an example of Matt Schifferle's provided content, here's an instructional video on using a suspension device:

I have several spinlock dumbbell handles. My favourites are some old York handles because they are 28 mm in diameter which means they are slightly thicker than the more common 25 mm (1") handles. I wondered if any of my m8s here know how I can make the 25 mm handles slightly thicker with something simple and cheap that isn't going to need constant maintenance?

I saw a bodybuilder do that to get a thicker grip. He wrapped it on with 7.62 cm surgical tape.

Also You can use a hand towel. I've used a bath towel on my pull up bar. You can change the thickness depending on the size of the hand towel or how much of the hand towel You wrap around the handle.
