Children should be taught the three "R's" that it. Any extra's, wood and metal work, sewing and cooking, and any other practical subject.
When I went to school, nothing political was discussed or taught, nor opinions of the teacher given. Nobody I knew in the eight years of primary and intermediate school, the four years of high school ever mentioned anything at all about Maori or Indian fellow-pupils re their race or creeds. We played together in the sunshine.
It was all one, and the things we were taught were what we should have been taught. You know....learning how to read and write, arithmetic, geography etc. Boys in wood work etc, girls in cooking. There were choices for boys who wanted to learn how to sew or cook, and girls who wanted to learn metal work.
Nothing at all about race, politics. The Police were respected, as were Firemen, Ambulance and Nurses, Doctors. Teachers.
What the hell has happened since those times ?

Subversive groups were allowed to create the disruptions (protests) and brainwash people into thinking what they say and do now, the 'us' versus 'them' cancel culture. The elders taught the youths to be rebellious in aggressive ways because the talking ways were not getting results. Sadly, it will get much worse as we even have medical professionals who are brainwashed doing even more damage. Maybe you heard of NYC psychiatrist, Dr. Aruna Khilanani and her lecture at Yale a couple of months ago. www.indiatoday.in/india/story/dr-aruna-khilanani-yale-lecture-white-person-shooting-black-lives-matter-1812283-2021-06-08Her quote of “I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step, like I did the world a favour.” is disturbing.

A knife that is dull isn't a knife. A gun without ammo isn't a gun.

That's the sort of thing that would have got the silly idiot the sack in the recent past. It's bordering on threatening to kill, which is a crime. Any person lecturing that subversive rubbish should come under surveillance of the FBI and any more of it, sack her. And place charges of disturbing the peace. There would be riots if any white lecturer said that about blacks. We had a bit of similar statements (not so violent) back in the 90's until it was pointed out that NZ is hardly like the States, even if not perfect. Race hatred works both ways.

The thing is it's not just race, it's about changing the world radically in fell swoop while Biden still in and alive.
It's the Asch conformity experiments from the 50's - The experiments revealed the degree to which a person's own opinions are influenced by those of groups. Asch found that people were willing to ignore reality and give an incorrect answer in order to conform to the rest of the group and how individuals yielded to or defied a majority group and the effect of such influences on beliefs and opinions.

I'll go with that, no question. But since you mention the 50's it's evident that Biden is only a late-comer, and many presidential administrations have come and gone since the 50's. Groups of all sorts and leanings have had influence on large numbers of the population on all fronts through history. Sometimes those groups ended up influencing and controlling whole countries began with small numbers. The Nazi's in Germany etc. Denominations of religious groups often have unsaid dissent among their members, who go along with the MS beliefs of their religious group, simply to keep on belonging to them.

YES, it is about control. Biden is only the current puppet. Trying to control the populous is nothing new. Religion was seen as the 'opiate of the masses'. WW2 and post WW2 was a a very interesting time to me as the study of humans, their physical (Muller and Hettinger, 1954) and mental, was continued from what was started in Nazi Germany in what was touted to be a more humane way. It didn't always work out that way. Sanitariums were nothing more than a place to keep people out of mainstream society and experiment on them, all funded by tax payers. Say something, no matter how much of a lie, long enough and folks will believe it to be true (Hitler).
Put a television in every house to brainwash the vulnerable, how convenient. Now, we have cell phones that people worship by the second - always looking at their phone.

Hmmmm, I wonder if times have changed much since 1776 ? And I wonder if the "we" of 1776 are the same as the "we" of now ? And the circumstances.
Of course the weapons of those distant days were necessary to kill attackers and shoot the dinner for the family etc
In the absence of having to shoot dinner these days, guns are used to defend the family household by legit citizens, and sub-humans use them to shoot anyone.
I guess I answered my own questions.
