well now that we have been informed that fruit and vegetables are worse for you than alcohol, I'm just going to get drunk instead of eating my 5 a day! Have 5 apple ciders that sounds good, but apparently, some cider brands still contain fructose, which would make them as toxic as eating actual apples (or carrots or salad etc) and will fry your liver - so vodka is probably better, same damaged liver but more fun

. Fructose in "food"...vegetables and fruit = Good. Little affect on insulin (especially in low GI fruits). Processed fructose = bad.

Bruce Congratulations on your weight lost! Small changes can make a big difference. I don't count calories either. I do agree with Texasranger about concentrating on fruits and vegetables. But in the same vein you want some taste. Like a rack of barbecued ribs, for example. I'd prefer heroine over ribs, but in a different vein each time.
