: THE ARM OF A SAMPLE STUDENT OF "JIU-JITSU." The Japanese do not care for great lumps of muscle on the upper arms. The little lump just over the bend of the elbow is regarded by the Japanese as being the most important of all. A splendid type of the arm produced by jiu-jitsu. The man stands 5 feet 1 inch, weighs 120 pounds. commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Japanese_Physical_Training_illustration_01.jpgThat's a fine arm. As an update, my trainjng in general has recently taken quite a drastic turn, I no longer lift heavy, in fact I fixed 3 or 4 pairs of dumbells, a couple of bars etc with light, set weights to use for higher rep, shorter rest training. I still try and hit each muscle with some frequency, but I am not so concerned with the bodybuilder, individual bodyparts mentality now. So with that being said, I am not really working forearms directly but I have found the macebell I use quite a lot really hits them hard, and I enjoy using it so that sees me right. What does Your training look like weekly? Do You do a split? Whole body? Cardio?

No actual routine Michael, I do what I want really, I cant seem to get theough full body workouts so like thus evening, I might get 3 or 4 muscle groups then some macebell work. I may workout again tomorrow but more likely it will be the day after, different movements but some may hit the same muscles again. I figure whqt is most important is that I do somwthing and I wnjoy it, if I miss some muscles for a week or so, no big deal, they will probably have been hit a little from some other movement. I'm not going to get bigger or stronger from this, but neither are goals anymore. It's been kind of liberating, I also dont train as hard on purpose, hard enough to work my body, but not to push it.

Nice Stuke! I get it. , I got exercise ADHD. You have to enjoy what You are doing or You won't do it. There are times when I do just KB stuff then there are times when I mix DBs, bands, and bodyweight. For me KBs tend to lend themselves better to full body or Upper/Lower body. I always work the extremities like the neck, forearms, and calves. That work is mostly for muscle endurance for my jobs. I always like mixing strength training with cardio for time efficient reasons. Plus I love the feel and it's fun for me.
