I have been working on my forearms lately, which is something I do every so often. The goal is to see howxI can change their appearance, particularly if I can improve vascularity, to see if it can be done without relying mostly on diet.
I do want to post regular pics and haveconecor two ready, only not sure how to add a pic. I tried looking in the help section and following that but cant seem to do it using ny phone. Any advice please?

So this is a shot from around 25 mins after a workout. Looks a bit bigger due to perspective but this was not intentional. I am working them a few times a week depending on how well I feel they are recovered, varied reps, often occlusion training, short rest periods. I also tend to use a Powerball on days when I am not training them just to get some blood in there for recovery.

The thing that inspired me this time believe it or not, was when I last gave blood a couple of weeks or so ago. The nurse commented on how good my vein was for donating, as they often do, and I thought, let's see if I can improve them and get some freaky forearms / vascularity. The method is based on nucleus overload principal - basically stimulating them a lot, and hopefully creating a need to quickly adapt to thecworkload, whilst still recovering which hopefully is not too much of an issue with such a small bodypart. I am paying close attention to how they feel each day.
I believe that grip exercises don't do too much for my forearms, but wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, twists with dumbells weighted on one side only etc do.

Haha thanks, though I'm not a big guy and they are not particularly big. The lighting helps, but I have no tan so it is needed. I am hoping for gnarly, sinewy and vascular forearms more than just size. I have a gut feeling the occlusion training may help with that. I restrict the blood up near my armpita with rolled up pieces of tubular bandages. I tend to do all my wrist curls occluded, then take them off and shakecmy arms around etc to get the blood moving, I then put them on for the reverse wrist curls etc, so I never occlude for more than maybe 4 mins at a time before releasing.

Great job, keep up the good work.
And kudos to you for showing both forearms so that the critics here - and there are many - won't accuse you of getting your pump and vascularity form being a one-handed wanker.

here is what I'm doing for my forearms. Biceps get hit with pull-up/chin-ups. No better than Devon Larratt!

I like training grip, forearms, and fingers separately. Because of a right wrist injury from tree work my therapist told me wrist curls and reverse wrist curls are something I should stay doing. I don't mind because I like doing them. I do other stuff depending on what I feel like doing. Good job and have fun with it! I do like the honesty about the lighting and so on. Most guys wouldn't give those details. The one picture looks like You have a big difference in size between Your wrist and forearm. My forearms and wrist seem like they are almost straight up and down, . I measured out of curiosity and there is a four and a half-inch difference. Here's an article on nucleus overload You may like: www.team3dalpha.com/articles/top-10-nucleus-overload-misconceptions

Great looking forearms! In the bottom right corner of this site (on my phone at least), there is a Desktop button. If you press that, it is easy to just attach a photo.

[br I am familiar with this guy, I like his stuff and left a few comments on his videos. He is very much of the Heavy Duty kind of mindset which is great when you are younger and more injury resistant. I have to be careful when pushing the big weights now.
