For years I fixed two fried eggs over toast with cream cheese and smoked salmon with a side of a banana and sliced apples for breakfast. Years. Years and years...alotta years.
For the last week I've been blending an egg in a bowl of milk and adding granola with raisins, honey, wheat germ, and a sliced banana. It's delicious, filling, and satisfying, and it takes no time at all to fix.

So they say. A guy on another forum (guess who) is recommending blending a dozen eggs - that's right. A dozen! - into some high protein concoction. Three times a day!

Who actually would go and buy 3 dozen eggs a day? , that's crazy. Everybody has a different opinion and take on diet, it would be a never ending discussion. But I think everyone would agree that 3 dozen raw eggs are not healthy. Besides, that guy changes his diet recommendations every other week. Diet is one thing I never listened to him on. He got that from Vince Gironda who died of a massive heart attack right? He used to talk so bad about Vince and now he's recommending his diet advice? He's nuts.

I don’t eat breakfast and have decided my next book will share all the secrets of this living strength fitness, health and wellness strategy. There’s a lot to know about it; it’s very complex and sophisticated.

Making changes can help to discover what works best for you. I've made lots of menu changes over the years. The most recent big one, that I hated to see go, was eliminating all dairy. I used to love cheese, but dairy doesn't love me back, so it had to go. *sniff*

I just did it because I wanted a change and to fix something that is quicker and doesn't use up so many kitchen items. Thank you for your cheesy post.

Who actually would go and buy 3 dozen eggs a day? , that's crazy. You're right. Who goes grocery shopping every day? Better to do a once a week grocery shop, and walk out with twenty one cartons of eggs.

You're welcome. OK, good. I liked the morning salmon idea, but I like the new raw egg idea too. I've never been sick from eating raw eggs, even when I used to buy them at the grocer before I had a local, fresh, pastured source. I understand you don't die, but it's no fun.
I've read that, perhaps, 50% of the population has a negative reaction to dairy - I think maybe just cow dairy, but I've cut out goat milk also. If I had a source for raw milk, I'd like to try it. From what I understand, the local ones are extremely careful due to scrutiny that is much tighter than for the big commercial dairies. Besides, the Amish families drink the milk from their own cows too. When someone I care about has any chronic health issue, I suggest that they try one of the elimination diets, like JJ Virgin, Whole 30 or such. Dairy is one of the items to eliminate for the trial.
