...... So he used isometrics to get back to where he was before the injury and it was the weight training and bodyweight exercises that gave him the muscles in the first place. Thank You for letting us know. No. It was TUT followed by nutrified recovery.

Silverlooks, we are expecting you to make "Isometrics" a word adopted to, and known throughout the Arab speaking world.

Yeah. TUT is TUT. That's what muscles respond to, time under tension. TUT is king!

Time Under Load is a more specific term, as it implies a particular load in a given time. In TSC 30-30-30 the load (intensity) changes as time advances, BUT, as you tire, the load is lower than what it feels(perceived load is bigger than real load).
Silverlooks has achieved a lot through isometrics via TSC 30-30-30, Steve Justa has achieved A LOT via many different protocols, in the 60's the american weightlifting team achieved a lot via Ziegler/Hoffman's protocol, etc...

Thank You for letting us know. Went back and exceeded my previous fitness level (strength, muscle mass). Thank you for the response, it obviously works for you. You say that you have exceeded you previous strength levels, does that mean you can lift and use more weight and recover faster?

Mr. Average, I have noticed over a period of time that you appear to be knowledgeable in a number of areas. I'm not just referring to King Tut, which anyone would have picked up on, but there have been other things as well.

I’d say for most of the old turds here, and you know who you are and this includes me, we’re really reclaiming previous muscle mass we had that got away from us. It’s only the young Mac the 97 lb. and skinny weaklings of the world who add (new) muscle mass.
I reclaimed 3.4 lbs. of muscle during a 2 month period as objectively measured by a DXA Scan. This wasn’t new muscle but previous muscle reclaimed.
Strength gains, objectively measured, are one way to assess muscle gains but if using weight lifted, some of the load increase will be from improving technique.
At this chapter in my life, cardiovascular conditioning and strength endurance matters more to me than chesticle and bicep size.
My Friday morning two cents.

Yielding isometrics and measuring strength gains:
One strength test I perform is a timed static contraction by lifting a Trap Bar from just above my knees( roughly a 3" pull and hold) . I'm willing to accept that my strength gains haven't come from new muscle mass but I can't believe that improved technique explains all my strength gains . Could it be something esoteric like improved NERVE FORCE?

There is a lot of bro-science floating around the internet. Thanks for the encouraging anecdote. EDIT: Henry Ford said, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't ... you're right." (But, I don't know if that effectively reaches into the realm of NERVE FORCE ?)
