pierini’s comment on training as a minimalist got me reflecting on my approach.
#1. Trap bar
#2. Weighted vest.
#3. The Hook.
#4. Doorway chin-up bar.
Thats it. Don’t own or use anything else.
What about my fellow canegurus? What’s in your toolboxes?

I really have too many to inventory. Many sticks of various materials, but usually wood or bamboo. Tools I've made are in the forum gallery and in posts I've made, like the gadas, the old wooden 1# DBs, etc, etc, my pull up bar, cheap or found weights and exercise equipment at the thrift stores, inner tubes, ropes, balls, etc, etc.

I shared my fitness toolbox details here earlier this year: pierini-fitness.blogspot.com/2019/01/tools-in-my-pierini-fitness-toolbox.html?m=0Since then I’ve added The Hook with resistance bands and the suspension trainer. I no longer belong to a gym and gave my pull-ups and bar dip station unit away when wife and I downsized several years ago. I go to local parks and do my pull-ups and bar dips there. That’s it for me.

I just thought of another one that I have. It's a backpack from a thrift store ($5?) filled with chain ($10 from flea market or sale?). Cheap and comfortable and able to be made more comfortable with strategic placement of towels. A strap around the torso and attached near the bottom of the bag is a good idea, depending on how it hangs.

I could probably fill a Moving Van will my fitness related collection . If I were minimalist, I'd be as rich as Pierini.
