You're not a nobody. Nobody is. Well, there ya go - a rowing club. Sounds fun and healthy. Do it. And maybe you'll get lucky and most of the members will be girls ! ..... or there could be Rower Groupies!

...... I got poo-pooed for this (which I'm used to) but I had posted about my taking Centrum vitamins and I do notice a marked improvement in my energy level and sense of well being. If you want a sense of well-being, you could always inhale. I'm not saying that there aren't drug company (Pfizer) manufactured chemical supplements that won't make you feel good, but at what TCI (total cost involved)? Sounds like they have you hooked.

Take action to create some memories that you can look back on with fondness. Win or lose. Joining a sports club sounds like a great idea.

Here's a poem by the great English Poet A. E. Housman When I was one-and-twentyWhen I was one-and-twenty I heard a wise man say, “Give crowns and pounds and guineas But not your heart away; Give pearls away and rubies But keep your fancy free.” But I was one-and-twenty, No use to talk to me. When I was one-and-twenty I heard him say again, “The heart out of the bosom Was never given in vain; ’Tis paid with sighs a plenty And sold for endless rue.” And I am two-and-twenty, And oh, ’tis true, ’tis true.
