I dunno. In looking over benches, I think these are the types that are ideally suited for the bands setup. The seat tilts up, you wrap your legs through the leg padding, and you're held securely in place, becoming one with the unit, so to speak. The locations of the cross bar supports at either end are also ideally spaced for the bands. This one from Walmart costs $44: This one that I got from Amazon cost $52:

I COULDN'T STAND IT ANY LONGER!
I just screwed a 3/8" eye-bolt into a ceiling joist over my bench from which I've hung bands for lat pulldowns. Now my bench truly is an everything station!

I know from doing various barbell and dumbbell bench press movements that benches that incline but that don't have seats that tilt are an injury waiting to happen. When the back is inclined and the seat doesn't, the hips roll backwards and the lower back lifts away from the surface of the bench which causes it to lose support.

Not only that, but you're always trying to prevent yourself from sliding forward. BTW, friends and neighbors, I am not completely satisfied with my bands hanging from the ceiling. I just picked up some hardware to fashion a ceiling mounted cable system which is sure to astound and amaze. That will be tomorrow's project.

It's been so long since I used a bench for anything besides step ups, feet elevated push ups, one arm rows or triceps extensions. I have my own flat bench for all that. Yeah Duece and Bruce, I believe You're right.
I tried to play around with this on the bench that was brought home. The only thing I got a decent feel on was the bench press. I had the bench incline to the highest point before I felt it. I'm guessing it's my bench but I couldn't do overhead presses so I'm not sure.

Michael, I use one resistance for bench press, overhead press, triceps curls, and ab crunches. Obviously, I'm strongest in my bench press, so I'm using a resistance that is challenging for the triceps curls. For the bench press, I'm combining KSHD with the bands.
