Ok fine. He did send me 2 belts. I like how they work and have used them as a suspension trainer. Got them on Wednesday. Slightly tricky but still cool to use at least for me. No instructions book. I told him I didn't need one and I could figure it out on my own. Has he made broken promises yes but this time at least with me he kept his word. The belt is nothing special, it's just a great tool to use. I'm happy with them and plan to use them for a long time. These two belts ...... Are they the new length of 27', or whatever it is supposed to be now, and not the old one that's shown on the product page that he's trying to dump at a sale price? The price for each was about $100, but no instruction book? You're right though, it's nothing special, if it exists. It's just a piece of web belt. The Sierra Suspension Trainer is half the price and far superior in function to a piece of seat belt material. You could just as well go to the farm store and buy a cargo strap for about $20 that would do the same thing as JeP's nonexistent belt and since you have no instruction book anyway, you'd be $$ ahead. I think you've been brainwashed, bigben84.

I think you've been brainwashed, bigben84. 28 feet. I don't need an instruction book to figure out exercises and positions. Think what you want bro. I do what works for me and besides, you wouldn't believe anything I say anyway so what's the point. You assume I'm brainwashed and I can tell you flat out I'm not but you wouldn't believe it if I said it with a straight face. Would you be comfortable with seeing how I use it is that too much for you? Either way, I can't lie and I'll tell you the truth based on what I've got. So keep telling me I'm brainwashed, it's easier for you to believe that but you'll never know the real story.

Are they the new length of 27', or whatever it is supposed to be now, and not the old one that's shown on the product page that he's trying to dump at a sale price? That's not a sale price. That's what the original seatbelts were always going for - $60. I wonder if this March 1 announcement was a ploy to get people to unknowingly buy the old belt with out-dated instructions.

Benny 28' of belt seems a little too much? Seems like all that extra belt would get in the way? I'm sure everyone would be comfortable seeing how You use it, You can post just about everything here. I once did a review on JP's old belt and Bruce's Isometric/Suspension Trainer on another forum. Of course, it got erased. I know Fred and Mikey mention ways people don't have to spend a bunch of money. Which are good ideas and much appreciated. My opinion is if I would have bought Bruce's first I would have never bought JP's. It is very versatile as stated by many. The other belt is just collecting dust in my basement. But everyone has their own opinion.

I've already utilized isos for the entire body and feel energetic after using it. It was frustrating at first to figure out the loops but I did figure it out after a few minutes. Deadlifts, upright rows, seated rows, curls, assisted pullups, suspension curls, neck positions, squats, bench press isos, I've done them all so far. My next form of isos would be for arm wrestling, dips (to assimilate gymnastic rings), push-ups and plank. I've done arm wrestling isos with the old belt and that was fun to do so the longer version can get greater angles and work with different positions like Steve Justa or Alexander Zass.

How does the longer length give You greater angles? Sorry, I don't get that? Are the loops a part of the 28' length or are the loops at the end of the belt? If it's a part of the belt than wouldn't You be losing length? If they are on the end, it just seems a little to long. Maybe if the basketball player Joel Embid wanted to use it would have plenty strap let.

The angles give better leverage and help with hitting areas that the smaller belt couldn't do. It's got a better grip in my opinion. If that's confusing for you than I'm sorry, it's the best I can tell you in the moment. If someone trained with me personally, I can give greater details and showing it. Don't know what else to tell you. All I can really say for sure is that it works for me and it's fun learning how to adjust it to the exercise or hold I want to do.

Have you developed dense muscle yet? How long do you think it will take you to get a lithe physique? Do you think it gives you functional strength? Have you started to blowtorch the fat off you body yet? Is it developing highly oxygenated blood yet? Will you become the new poster boy of the belt? It would be nice to see the comparison between you and whiffet, the poster boy of the Hook etc................................. I just cannot wait.

The physique thing is not a priority to me, to a degree. I have no plans for becoming shredded or looking lithe and all that. All I care about is getting stronger at certain angles and having a carry over to other areas of training. It's only been a few days so changes don't come that quickly, I do feel slightly different though. I feel a little faster in my animal flow and moving through hindu squats pretty well. That's just an example. Overall, I have no idea what will come out of it but I'm not ever going to be some jacked up guy with extremely low bodyfat. I told John straight up I wasnt going to be doing that. He even tried to tell me about being shredded at 200 lbs if I wanted to go that route and I shut him down on that one. I know I'm no poster boy for a lean, muscular physique at 10% or less and that's not important to me. Most of what I have done since I've had the belt was no pain anywhere and I'm really happy about that. It's even helped my snow shoveling, moving faster and getting the work done easier. I feel really awesome since having it. I'm happy.

Believe me, I'm not confused, I've been exercising probably since around 1984. So if I don't know how to figure stuff out by now I should just quit exercising. Definitely doesn't take a rocket science to do isometrics. The length part doesn't make sense to me but that's ok. Thanks for Your stab at explaining it. If it's fun and You like it have at it.

Bigben84,
1) I have the sierra strap and a belt I made myself with a 12000 pound resistance black strap and a 12000 pound resistance buckle. Bruce's is more versatile, mine is wider and longer. Both inexpensive and great quality.
2) I want to see photos and a video of the belt, could you please post them?
3) I would like you to be open about what you talk with JP. Why? Because you come here saying "I have talked to him but wont say what we did talk about..." and the likes which is a bait for us to talk about JP. Without this forum and agingmachomen he has nothing.
4) Ask him why he didn't answer my questions, I sent 2 emails to him, yet I havent read any "I received an email asking about LS and the new belt..." post in transformetrics.
Thanks

Well I am only asking because of the claims made by JP and the fact you seem to be the only one to receive the belts, so by my thinking your body should be able to live up to the JP hype. Maybe I am wrong in thinking that you will should be able to achieve the hype. Otherwise IMO it is just another piece of webbing. I mean isometrics do not need any equipment at all, limb against limb isometrics can hit angle someone wants or needs without ever using a piece of webbing and I have never found that they cause pain.

Thanks First off, that's awesome you were able to make that, that's impressive and I'm happy to know it works well for you. I will be posting photos and videos on the belt in the not too distant future. I'm just getting used to it and I'm in the last couple months before my wedding so timing won't be that great. I'm not going to be open about what me and John talk about on a certain level because he's asked me not to and I'm keeping my word out of respect for him. The emails you sent him, I don't know a damn thing about why he hasn't answered you back, that's not my business. You can knock all you want on him, that's your thing not mine. We respect each other in our own ways and yeah, I don't agree on everything when it comes to his philosophy and he doesn't agree with me about how I train when it comes to certain methods. What he has done to himself and the broken promises, that's all on him and he's going to have to live with it but I found out things about him that don't need public attention. He's been through enough and I'm not going to be a spy just for a bunch of these guys' satisfaction. When I say I keep my word, I mean it so you can ask all you want but I'm not saying a damn thing. If something is that important to you, you'll either figure it out or you won't, either way, I'm going to do what works for me and nobody else. John even offered to train me on the belt and I turned him down because I wanted to learn on my own, I've always been that way.

Yes free hand Isometrics work just as well if not more than webbing, I'm not disagreeing with that, it's just an idea. My body will do what it will do and I have no idea what results I truly will get our of it but it'll be fun finding out.
