The capability is there but how often do you utilize the full range? I don't much at all - only for side chest each arm and back pulldowns. Also, I use all my bullies primarily for compression, only 4 exercises using straps - curl, archer, front pull apart expander, and the seated leg opener (abduction) and seldom have done upright rows 1 arm at a time holding it in front. I hold both straps as I don't like the sewn together parts getting caught in the rollers as a classmate in 1984 broken his that way.
The old 36" X5 is still being made in Germany and is for sale, but cannot be shipped to US unless you get a 3rd party broker to send here. I believe they hold the patent to that piece and won't let go.
The XO Hard Type solid sold from Japan is the revised version of the 36" X5 Gold. It is about 33.1" and only 77 lbs resistance compared to the 105 lbs of the 36 inchers.
I don't think the Hughes family (Bullworker North America?) will ever produce a 3 tube X5. I believe they can only produce 2 tube version at this point in time.

Just for grins, and to clean my X5 that was made in England, I compared the springs of it to the X5 Gold. The gold has longer springs and of a different metal, hence what I believe are the reasons for the different feel.

I really liked the Union Jacks on his handles. I copied this guy and put a tape measure on my X5. The tape I used only has centimetres and millimetres which I think looks better than having metric and Imperial. He could have found a metric only tape in the UK easily enough.

I only look at the number on the power meter occasionally to check strength. I use the red ring only as a place holder to see that I stay at a certain point during my hold times.

I watch Damian's channel for these. I like him and he does a great job.
