A nice angle/variation on Bruce’s KSHD and the Tiger Moves is to go the Greg Mangan route with VRT - lifting movements coupled with using visualization to imagine/ visualize an extreme situation to increase self-induced exertion. Applied to Tiger Moves it can be used during the “heavy” reps. This can also be utilized while doing ISOs. In his pamphlet Greg describes squeezing boulders to powder and pulling his arms down and behind his back while imagining his arms tied to two teams of horses pulling in opposite directions, in order to avoid being “drawn and halved”. His point is, do it vividly and make it fun and interesting. Greg Mangan is da man. He wrote the book. The truth is, he discovered this type of exercise independently on his own, and went with it.

I had a hard time finding a digital copy of Harry Wong's 'Dynamic Strength', and fortunately I still keep it.
I uploaded it to WeTransfer for you and everyone else here to check it out:
It's an interesting approach and it definitely works.

Joey... Thank you! You ought to put that in our Training Publications forum. I would, but the link expires in 7 days. When I find a way to upload it permanently, I will.

I just uploaded it to my domain and people can get it from there: shenster.angelfire.com/Books/HARRY-WONG_Dynamic-Strength.pdfI will add it to the publications forum. It's a BIG PDF file - 76 megabytes. Thanks again!

You probably won't because it's a pretty obscure work, but still someone must have intellectual and commercial rights over it... Very nice of you!

One ounce of chocolate-covered almonds is about 140 calories. A 200 lbs. man walking at a moderate pace (2.8 to 3.2 mph) has to walk about 25 minutes to burn 140 calories. No problem for someone who isn't trying to lose weight. If you're trying to lose weight, I think there's a better choice of food "costing" 140 calories that will leave you more satisfied and full. Not trying to be a naysayer here but sharing what I learned in my journey of reclaiming my middle-aged man "fighting weight." Full disclosure: I eat chocolate and I like nuts. I'm on a Macadamia nut roll at the moment but I'm not trying to lose weight. , Pierini, middle-age have to wear their glasses:) Wrong thread, just busting Your chops.

Oops, yes my middle-aged man eyes are fading. On my short list is to visit the eye doctor and get some real glasses rather than those readers. Thanks.

Very nice of you! If it is free from the link you posted, then it must be free anywhere. And if I'm busted I'll just fall back on my line for any situation - "I didn't know." And if that doesn't work, there's always...

I really like them. I had put if off for a long time, but well worth it for me.
