As I have mentioned earlier, I've had some experimentation with Kin Shi-Hai Do and I know it's effective.
I'm interested in John McSweeney's version of KSHD aka Tiger Moves. I read that there is a description of the exercises in a book of his called Battleaxe. I searched for it and it seems long out of print and not available except for one overpriced copy on e-bay (170 U$D) that does not deliver to Lebanon as well.
I know that some plagiarizer has included the tiger moves in one of his books with a great deal of exaggerations and put false claims on McSweeney's tongue, that lead some people to ridicule these exercises, and other people to have prejudice against it. Seems this plagiarizer taints any training method he endows with exaggerations and fairytales that people become extremely skeptic and negative towards this method (this happened with isometrics too).
Back to subject, I would like to read the exact words of the original author, and I was informed that the exercise description is just 3 pages at the end of the Battleaxe book. If someone has it could you please put these pages in the Publications section? (pictures, scans, anything).
Thanks.

Silverlooks, I have done them in the past. They were great for healing some nagging injuries I had. I still do them with light tension sometimes to loosen up or warm-up. I had this DVD but for some reason I can't find it. McSweeney demonstrates them on the DVD. It might be a little cheaper for You. www.amazon.com/Total-Self-Defense-John-McSweeney/dp/B077MT9H1M

I remember reading an article about McSweeney and his Tiger Moves in Illustrated Martial Arts, a magazine. I read this article before I knew anything about the Tiger Moves as advanced by John Peterson on his forum. If I remember correctly, the article only presented three of the moves. I made an internet search right now to see if I could find the article but could not.
Here's a decent YouTube presentation that you may have already stumbled across and an oldie but goodie sales pitch by the grandmaster himself of his Tiger Moves:

I still won't buy the plagiarizer's book though.

I did a search for you but also came up with the same results. I'll keep my eye out though.... ....and yes, I've done similar exercises to the 'Tiger Moves', and definitely consider them worthwhile 👍

If you’re strapped for cash to buy the original, You don’t have to buy anything from BB you can Watch Wendie Pett do them all in the Exercises section of Transformetrics site. There’s only like 7 of them, High Reach, One Hand Chin, Barrel Squeeze, Wrist Twist, Shoulder Roll, Half Squat, Ab squeeze. Most of these are also in the Charles Atlas course in some form as well.

It's not about being strapped for cash, but I won't pay 170$ for 3 pages, and the item does not ship to my country even if wanted to. I wanted to read the exact words of the author, thus my request for these 3 pages.

I asked someone about this and he told me that You can see them in John McSweeney's book," Street Karate" also. The book is expensive. He said," It's also in the back of Street Karate and you can see it on Amazon in the "search in the book" if you search for Tiger Moves. If you do the "Look inside" you can see all the exercises and descriptions if you search "Tiger moves".
I tried this but I couldn't get it to work. He did send me screenshots to my email. Technology-wise I'm terrible so I don't know how to put this stuff up. If someone can try to tell me how to do it I'll try to put it up for Silverlooks. Or maybe Bruce could help me.

Since we're talking about tension/stretching in various ways, you may want to check out Pete Wagner in the forum "Training Publications, Manuals, Courses" section (linked).

Don't have any of McSweeney's books, but if you're interested in this kind of training I think I still have a PDF copy of Harry Wong's Dynamic Strength somewhere. I had problems with a failing external hard drive some time ago, hope it wasn't there... If you want it I can send it to you.
