Hey bruce glad all is well...what leaned you more toward DSR than Kshd? Also will you do a strength comparison before goin back to the hook? I felt the need for actual resistance. No, I won't do any comparisons. This has all been an interim thing lasting only a month.

I thought that DSRs (dynamic self resistance?) was pitting one body part against another through a good range of motion, and I thought most of KSHD exercises were implementation of that general concept. So now I'm confused. What's the difference between DSRs and KSHD?

Dsr is bio-mechanical limb agaisnt limb or using a strap and using limbs to pull or push..kshd is volitional internally created tension agonist vs antagonists..in laymans terms kshd is going through physiological motions of moving a resistance force..straining the muscles using electrical currents of the body..to stimulate muscle contraction soley..to me I love kshd for the feeling and freedom and neurological aspects..but its becoming evident dsr is more fool proof and result producing..and IMHO the closest feeling you can get to lifting external or moving external resistance...kshd also I believes makes you more supple and fluid my experience..I like them both and each has specific merits

Or you could say (apart from the learned explanation above) that SR (or DSR) in relation to a curl would be the left arm holding the right arm's wrist and providing the resistance during a right arm full range curl, whereas in KSHD, the right arm would be tensed by itself, the triceps providing the resistance to the biceps.
They are both wonderful exercise protocols.

I swear! I am just dying to get downstairs for a real workout! I can't wait for next week! All my equipment is down there calling out to me - my Hook, my weights, my Sierra strap, my Gruntergenie, my Exergenie, my Bullworkers. Once I get the ok, I'm gonna hit those bad boys with a vengeance!
