Sharing my end of summer 2019 photo. Trained this summer doing pull-ups, chin-ups and bar dips (BW 100 reps and lower-rep weighted), KB complexes and more recently double KB OHP, running and walking. i’ll share how I did chasing my summer 2019 fitness goals on Friday. Photo taken on Sunday, last day of summer, age 64 and BW 170.2 lbs. I don’t do any direct arm, chest and neck work and it shows. Can’t do it all. Concentrating on upper-percentile cardiovascular-respiratory conditioning and strength endurance. It’s a perpetual mission in progress.

Looking good, IMO you do not need to worry about isolation exercises for your arms, chest and neck. I hope to look as good as you in 12 years time.

I haven’t done a good job of updating my Pierini Fitness blog lately so I’ll share here about one Summer 2019 goal that was open as to status when I gave my accountability report.
That goal was to achieve 16.0 percent body fat by the first day of Fall 2019. I didn’t achieve this goal.
While my BIA scale consistently gives me a BF reading in the 13 percent range, a DXA-Scan I had on 10/2/2019 told me I was 18.6 percent.
So, once again, goal not achieved. It’s now a Fall 2019 goal with next test date on or around first day of Winter in about 2 months. It’s the toughest to achieve of all my Fall 2019 fitness goals.
