I've got about 7 pounds to lose to get to my lean-looking weight. I've been hit with a totally unexpected health problem since switching offices. I've been asthma free for over 25 years, but since we merged with a new law firm something in the new office is triggering it. I suspect it is their pet dog, but I await test results. The asthma goes each weekend and returns in the office. So my main goal is just to be asthma free again, as having problems with something as important as breathing really focuesses the mind on what is important. I know where you are Whiff. Hope you find the trigger soon. It's cold and changeable weather that has me on the panting.
Are your premises closed-air system ? When I was working in that sort of environment installing phones, I used to have a bit of trouble.

Yeah, my first thought was HVAC circulation/ventilation.

Hi Macky. I'm in my own little office an l open my window all day. I wondered if it could be the traffic, but shutting it makes no difference. I do have hay fever but it doesn't cause asthma. I was chatting to another person who started a month ago, too, and she is also having similar issues since joining. Her theory is that the carpets are old and might be full of allergens such as dust. It's a bit of a head scratcher. I'm hoping the test reveals a dog allergy as at least that is simple to solve. If it is inconclusive it's more of a head scratcher. I'm not happy that I'm having to take a steroid inhaler each day now as there are so many potential side effects.

That stinks Whiffet. Hope it's a dog allergy. My youngest is allergic to cats. All he has to do is stay away from cats. He doesn't have the reaction You have, his eyes swell up. As soon as he gets away from the cat or area the swelling goes down.

Pierini great to see you posting again, and enjoy your blog also, as for my fitness summer goals, I going to do more mobility work and flexibility work, because Im brural at both of those things,Ill be 61 in Aug, my weight is 170 at 6'3 with my bf at 13%,I want to also tighten up my obliques some, they could use it,continue my rehab on my shoulders and both my arthritic knees, another thing to is doing more forearm and grip work, being a meat cutter for 36 yrs, until I retired almost 3 yrs ago,I used a knife everyday cutting and boning out meat my forearms and grip strength was pretty good, so thats one thing I would really like to work on also, but the flexibility and mobility thing is huge for me.

Woke up 185 lbs this morning. Good progress towards my goal.
Cutting out cream, and reducing portions. Trying to adhere to the eat till you’re 80% full, and no more...

Bumping this to invite those who previously posted to ask if their training thus far, early in the summer season, aligns with their goals.
I’ve been concentrating on my running goal as my fun run is coming up in one month.
Also inviting those who haven’t to share their goals.
I do better when I have specific and measurable goals. Your mileage may vary.

I'm just shooting to lose about 5-7 pounds. Honestly, this is much easier in the summer where I live. The humidity where I'm at is high, plus the upper 90 temperatures will have You soaked in sweat.

Bumping this discussion because the last day of Summer is tomorrow and it's time for me to fess up and give an accountability report on how I did with my Summer 2019 fitness goals. I'm testing my one-mile run time tomorrow if all goes well and then having a body fat scan the middle of next week. Then, I'll post my report here. I believe there will be a few goals that I'll miss. Oh well, had fun trying. Also will be setting Fall 2019 fitness goals, all measurable of course.
Anyone else?
