After hearing stuff on here lately about Vince Gironda I've been reading different things on him. Don't agree with everything but very interesting individual. A couple things I found interesting is his rest between sets and a breathing technique that Fred Hutch told me about before I even knew about Vince. He didn't rest long in between sets which I've always done because I prefer circuits, supersets, ect…
The way he breathed and the hyperventilation technique Fred told me about. On all my exercise I breath naturally but I have noticed how I breath a little different between strength training and cardio. Strength training I breath in my nose out my mouth. Vince, correct me if I'm wrong, recommended breathing in and out through pursed lips. Running I breath in and out my nose with my mouth shut. Just feels more natural to me. By the way, I'm not asking for advice, just seeing what others do. Also I don't know the biochemistry but I thought this video on Vince's hyperventilating technique was interesting. Don't know if it's right or wrong scientifically.
