I, Professor Von Bruce have at last solved the egg-shell peeling dilemma! I'm not talking about other ways of cooking eggs I've come up with, I'm talking about actually peeling hard boiled eggs!
I took techniques put forth by people on this forum, and others found elsewhere and combined them. Whenever I've boiled eggs and then tried to peel the shells, those suckers were electro-plated to the eggs. Not anymore!
Today I boiled eggs, and as soon as they were done I placed them into a tupperware container filled with ice cubes. I then covered them with water, closed the lid on the container, and shook it vigorously. I left the eggs in there for about 3 minutes, and shook the container a few more times. When I opened the container, the egg shells were cracked (duhhhhhhhh). I took an egg out and cracked the shell all around, and then rolled it back and forth on the counter. When I started to peel the shells, they practically fell off! I mean, they were just begging to be easily peeled off!
I hope this post will enrich someone's life.

I feel like I've wasted my life, and am continuing to do so. There can always be a new beginning! Go thou, my son, and boil thee some eggs! "Thou before thine, except after thee."

Bruce ! any tips on peeling potato ? I use a regular peeler which is ok but wundered what majik tool you would use.
I peel and cube 4 medium spuds about an inch square, put spuds in a microwavable pot then in the microwave and set for 5 mins whilst a kettle is on the boil. When water boils add to the spuds and boil on the stove till done. Then all I do is add a 2 or 3 of cheese slices and mash till smooth.
I use Kraft Extra Cheddar, processed cheese but not the kind individually wrapped in plastic, although you can use that kind coz these are hard to find...
I hope this post will enrich someone's life.

85 years old and finally he learns how to peel an egg. My mother teached me to use cold water on boiled eggs when I was 6. Which works perfectly, no ice cubes needed. Bruce, wonders await you, wait until you learn about shoe laces, or about what clocks are really good for.
