It really is Handy. I think the guy is not using anywhere near a proper intensity level to get good results, except for really deconditioned people. Might maintain some level of fitness. Most of my sets with weights take about 60 to 70 seconds of time under tension. I try to approximate that time with isos.
From someone here I learned to count breaths which I like a lot better than one Mississippi, two Mississippi and so on. Counting can be distraction. I think using interval timer good too

Thanks Stormshadow. I like this guy's fresh delivery. Doorframe gyms are everywhere and there's plenty to occupy oneself with.
Another decent one to try if the doorway is wide enough is to stand in the doorway with your back to the frame, a cushion behind your lower back, and prop your foot up on the opposite doorframe for a "one-legged extension".
Noted is his hold time. Good for sets and "pulses", and to return to for a break from long hold times now and then. I think I caught his quick mention of longer hold times to build muscle as well.

Thank you Macky. I also appreciate all your training info and knowledge (and humor on AMM). That is an excellent leg exercise. I will try. Boxer's careers often end when the legs go. Most athletes fade when the legs go. I think leg strength very important to health and mobility and quality of life. A friend of mine who is Chiro said who cares how much a person can squat. The important thing is to get on and off a toilet until the day you die. That is true living

Back in the day when I was gym punchbag, it was the legs that felt wobbly when I caught a few swats. More than a few actually :-)
