In my buildings Fitness Center is a dumbbell rack, there's some of these neoprene kind I think someone donated but only up to 10lbs. What I do like about them is the super nice fat grip of even thickness... The main 5 - 50lb dumbbells are these kind that have a skinnier grip that tapers for some stupid reason. Sure they look slick and all that but they are shit.

My wife has the neoprene kind -- a pair of 10s and 20s -- and I used them a few times with Bolton's workout when I tried it out. At least for me, they were perfect with the grip like you mentioned.

Agonist/antagonist resistance solves all this. You know it would be coming in a thread like this before long, so I saved him the trouble.

I have a pair of 10 lb. neoprene dumbbells and they really do have a good feel to them. I was using mine for Tabatas. I wrapped each of my regular dumbbell handles with padded tennis racket wrap. Makes them comfortable to grab hold of and provides a really nice grip.

A complete How To guide is soon to be published as "Auntie Agony's System of Exercise" I'd bet money that it will still beat Living Strength to the bookshelves.

Those gyms that are still open...so many have closed their doors as trainees around North America...the world...have converted...
