Bullworkers and Power Twisters can effectively be used to perform timed static contractions ; they provide a way of gauging your efforts

I've used my Bullworker for abs for at least ten years, now. I'm going to try those exercises shown in the video and maybe add them to what I already do.
Here's what I do:
1. Stand the bully on end on a stool, face it, and hold the top handle with both hands out at arms length. Turn your torso slightly so that the abs on your left side are facing the bully, and press straight down on the bully, keeping your arms straight. Lean forward a bit, targeting and working your ab muscles. Turn to face the bully with the right side of your abs and repeat. This is, in essence, a plank.
2. For obliques. Place the bully on end on a stool, face it with your left side, and hold the top handle at arms length with your left hand. With your arm straight, push straight down on the bully. Repeat on your right side. This just as effectively hits your pecs and lats.
3. Sit in a chair and place one end of the bully on the chair in between you legs. Reach up and pull the top handle straight down with both hands while, at the same time, leaning in towards the bully, and raising your knees.
4. Do a stomach vacuum.
I just tried the video Bullworker abs exercises. I didn't think the first one is all that effective. I think mine are better. I did like the oblique exercise, though.

Why do a lot of guys who make these videos feel it necessary to run their mouths incessantly? Just get to the point and show the freaking exercises, already.

Bruce do You hold these for time or do rep? I know this is not the same but years ago I did Larry Scott's Ring Of Fire. Man did I get a cramp doing the obliques. Haven't done it since.
