Yeah lots of that is pretty accurate. I notice a lot of women now seem to have a sense of entitlement, too.

You European guys would probably do well here in the States. The ladies here love males with "sexy" foreign accents.

If Alan Old Student reads this thread he may get dangerously triggered.

On a more serious note, Whiffet, can I ask:
1. I keep reading about acid attacks -- sometimes three a week, sometimes more -- being committed against young women throughout the London area. True? 2. I've read Britain's allowed separate courts to impose Sharia Law over & above British laws? True? And is this legal? 3. I've read and seen pictures showing massive marches throughout London saying the UK will be a Muslim state by 2020 or some time in the future? Are these articles accurate and pictures representative of the actual marches? 4. I also saw a story where a politician was jailed for quoting Churchill's warning about some of this and a journalist (Bobby something?) was also jailed for trying to cover a trial of a man on trial for an honor killing (?) -- allegedly huge backlash/protests against this?

Where I live there is a lot of knife crime, but it's mostly black on black. If they want to carve each other up, good luck to them! (Especially if they leave me alone).
- Sharia Courts are used by muslims, but they don't supercede British law, although some muslims will disagree. I live in the Black Country, just north of Birmingham and there are a lot of muslim areas, especially in the inner city. In general, they are shit holes - lots of litter on the streets, as if the residents don't care. They also park their cars, (usually German made) all over the foot paths. Travel not far away and you won't see an Asian. I went 40 miles to Ludlow today (to see the castle). Not an Asian face in sight.
- I very much doubt the UK will be a muslim state by 2020, but sometime in the future it will be. Have you heard of Brexit? Brexit is about leaving the EU and the slogans produced as part of project fear, in the run up to the referendum, was about taking back control of the UK's borders. Controlling imigration. While we're in the EU, people have free movement from Europe. A lot of Poles and Croations (amongst others) have come to the UK in the last 20 years. Brexit will stop that. However, the vast majority of immigrants come from outside the EU, mostly the Indian sub-continent, Nigeria and the West Indies. The UK has always had total control over whether or not these people come into the UK. The govt could say "No" but nearly always says "Yes". The lot from the Indian sub-continent are nearly always muslims. It's also reckoned they breed like rabbits. They do seem to have larger families than most. They also don't want to integrate on society and refuse to learn English. I work in high schools (13-18 year olds) and one I worked in had 50% Asians, 40% Afro-Carribeans and 10% White. A lot of the Asians could barely speak a word of English.
- Don't know, but Enoch Powell was largely correct when he made his "Rivers Of Blood" speech.

We have problems in the UK at moment. New hate speech law mean even legitimate criticism of Islam or trans rights etc can result in a police investigation. We had Pakistani researchers at an institute do research into whether most child abuse gangs were Muslim Pakistani men. They were aiming to debunk this as a myth, but their research showed the opposite. They wanted this talked about in the media, but politicians and the mainstream media just won't. Acid attacks and knife crime are all on the rise. A toddler was sprayed here the other week in the UK. It seems the ex husband didn't like the fact the woman had been pictured without a full Muslim veil. My understanding is that Sharia courts are all "underground" and not supported by our actual court system. Not living in London I'm only seeing the same protest pics as you so cannot really say. But I grew up in them midlands and it would be fair to say it is like visiting a foreign country there now in Birmingham town centre. I don't know about the politician story, but people are being jailed for silly things. There was a chap with a formal title who made an obvious social media joke about how he'd give money to the first person the run over one of the anti Brexit protestors. It was clearly a joke but he got jailed. Tommy Robinson is the chap who is locked up for covering a child abuse trial. I have no sympathy for him. A judge had told him before if he did anything it like this again he'll be jailed. He knew he'd be in contempt of court by filming them going into the court and purposely did it. It achieved nothing and just got him jailed. I know in the USA it is totally different, but the courts worry here that defendants will say their trial was unfair if filmed etc and use that as a way to get a retrial. So in certain circumstances there is a reporting ban until it is over. He knew he'd go to jail for breaching it and I think it was lunacy what he did. It would be fair to say the establishment hate him as he is a big critic of Islam. However he isn't university educated and does often go off the rails. He's what I'd consider an unreliable critic. He does make some valid points but you have to be careful with him.

It's worth emphasising that most of the high profile acid attacks in the U.K. do not involve Muslim perpetrators.

In my humble opinion, Europe is slowly (and not so slowly) falling.
