We're trusting "government studies" from federal organizations headed by up people from the petro-chemical fertilizer manufacturers to replace "minerals" and substances that are allegedly deficient? eg:
- Michael Taylor, a senior executive from Monsanto, ran the FDA when Barry Obama was prez.
- Anyone wonder how Monsanto was able to force their fertilizers (and later seeds and pesticides) in area allegedly deficient in minerals throughout several major regions in Africa despite pushback and protests from the locals? Barry O.
- Not 1:1, but, another example is Donald Rumsfeld got aspartame pushed through as a safe food product while working for Ronny...why would he do that when independent research found issues with it? Well, Donny worked for Monsanto.
- There were lawsuits against Monsanto's practices with seeds, fertilization. Guess who wrote one of the decisions to shut that down? Clarence Thomas...former employee of Monsanto.
This is just a small example of the nonsense which takes place constantly and the result is the BS we see with false claims, statements, misleading studies.
This should be near & dear to our hearts: the legendary US food pyramid is another example -- it had absolute no foundation in science, but, good old George McGovern -- who helped push this complete fabrication through -- is from South Dakota, a huge producer of grains.
The honesty of any federal studies, to include the soil...?
As I'd referenced in another post, if vegan MDs who rely on plants for their patients aren't advocating taking concentrated sources of minerals (vitamins, et al), that might be something to think about.
One also has to keep in mind this stuff comes in concentrated dosages...don't think if I headed out to the wilderness I'd find anything in mother nature that would even come close so you're relying on some back office marketing claims with regards to your health while keeping their wallets fat.
