I'm reading the dripping sarcasm comments at the start of the thread. I need paper towels here. Pierini is very familiar with the in jokes about belly bounces and NERVE FORCE as he was around from the early days of Twatformetrics, m8 "Nothing to see here". Everyone gets their turn.

Even more of an accomplishment with the 10 lbs gain from 2020.
What's the new goal, if there is any?

That's great news! Just curious, what did you weigh when you started these in 2020 and what did you weigh yesterday? Thanks! I was averaging bodyweight of 170 lbs. around the time right before Summer 2020 when I was working hard chasing 10 minutes. My best time during that burpees training intense period was 10:46. Yesterday when my time was 9:56, my weight was 180 lbs. I know you get Dexa body scans on the regular. Is the 10 pounds you added LBM.? At 69, that would be quite an accomplishment.

Unlike the past when I had several written goals, I have only 3 for 2024 and they are the same as 2023 - 1) stay prescription medicine free - thus far achieved, 2) 100 burpees with jumps in under 10 minutes - finally achieved and now the challenge is to maintain that performance, and 3) get to 175 lbs. bodyweight by first day of Spring - not achieved. For me, having some written goals is helpful.

The DEXA-Scan stuff was something I did when I was 65 and not since. I'm sure my body fat percentage is higher now than at age 65 and I'm OK with that. My interest is in cardiovascular-respiratory conditioning rather than body appearance but I don't care to sport a pus-gut belly.

Progress isn't linear but, rather a timeline of ups and downs with two steps forward and one step back but with desire, discipline, patience and perseverance, progress will eventually happen.
After a couple days of rest, I did another 100 burpees with jumps workout and was able to shave off 12 seconds from my previous workout's time; today's time was 9:44. Naturally, I'm pleased.
I have video proof uploaded on my YouTube channel.

Pierini great accomplishment. I pretty much love all exercises. Except burpees. They are also a mental challenge.
I went through a crazy phase where I did them and they are excellent for conditioning. I used to like doing them at a school playground in San Diego underneath a chin up bar so that I could throw in a chin up too at completion of each burpee
I know they cost a lot, but my favorite all rounder for hitting almost everything is the Concept 2 rower. Throw in pushups to work chest and you have a very complete workout
But the Burpee is priced to perfection. Zero
Also for history buffs
The Burpee exercise was put together as a fitness test. Its origin is from the 1930's and named after Royal H Burpee who earned a PhD in applied physiology from Columbia University in 1940 and created the “burpee” exercise as part of his PhD thesis.Feb 2, 2020

We go way back on the cyberspace fitness forums. I've done burpees the way you describe with a pull-up and even a squat chaser. I've got a couple videos on my YouTube channel of 100 burpees done with those chasers. We have a great burpees enthusiasts community at YouTube and we're going to have a 24 hours burpees extravaganza on June 8th which I'm told is Royal Burpee's birthday. Stop by for a view. I'm up at 7:00 am for one hour, Mountain Standard Time.

MBS, what are you doing for your cardiovascular training these days ? Are you still doing the rock scrambling? Yes, I went rock scrambling this morning. 2-4x weekly. On occasion I throw on a 35 lb weight vest and walk 60-90 minutes.
