I know the average American is fat, but when I look at the young people, some observations. I took a college tour with my daughter recently, and much of what I observed I think was confirmed:
The guys are taller and better muscled than the average guy of my own Generation X The girls bodies are more voluptuous, to be blunt, the butts are better than they used to be. Even 10 years ago, the typical immigrant Latina had a flatter, unappealing butt, but now, their bodies look more like the curves you formerly only saw on African American females, same for the white girls. This is my observation, based on thousands of personal sightings.
Obviously these kids are the product of hormones in the foods they've grown up on. Can we say that to some degree all these hormone injected chicken nuggets were PEDs?

My employment has me around college aged kids 5 days a week, and my observations are a little bit different than yours. I rarely ever see male students with any muscle at all, never mind “better muscled”, and regardless of how tall they are their hands are sometimes almost comically smaller than previous generations. I’m no giant at somewhere between 5’10” - 5’11” barefoot height, yet when shaking hands with some of these kids it’s like shaking hands with a girl (?)…. The girls here are also nothing to rave about, and this is in the NYC / New Jersey area where the people used to tend to be better looking overall.

I'm in the New York area too and I'm with Mags on this one...I don't see any young people that impress me even slightly. Many of them, both male and female, are obese already, the ones that aren't are scrawny, the males--I refuse to call them men--are universally effeminate and the females have taken up the slack and act peculiarly masculine, angry, and entitled. Nothing to see here...

“Let me have men about me that are fat, Sleek-headed men, and such as sleep o’ nights: Yond Cassius has a lean and hungry look; He thinks too much: such men are dangerous.”
Julius Caesar, Act 1, Scene 2.

The curvier butt look on females is currently the style. When that is the case, the commercial market responds with clothing and "foundations" that enhance that look.

The world is fucked. The mother/child bond is purposely severed and western world is a rotting corpse. The blame rests solely upon atherosclerosis, negative nerve force, and tannedsexuals.

It's all due to plastics.
Endocrine-disrupting chemicals found in plastics like alkylphenol, polybrominated diphenyl ethers, phthalates, organotins, perfluorinated compounds, dioxin, bisphenol A.
These chemicals are universally pervasive & leach from plastics & also pose threats by interfering with the hormone receptors which cause other problems such as cancer, diabetes, reproductive disorders, and neurological impairments. Is it any wonder u got more effeminate men or women with crazier ideas?

On average young adults nowadays are obviously larger but also have have weaker hands. The ones who do any exercise now will be likely to grow muscle more easily because they eat so much more, don't know if there is more growth hormone in the meat or not. I'm glad hiphop forced the media to switch over to big arses being good because rising obesity and big arses being bad would have only accelerated the homosexual agenda, and we'd all be posting on bruvworld.

I know on the Ray Peat forum they talk about using brown paper bags, m8

While the human body's biological evolution isn't happening rapidly, our lifestyles and fitness practices are shaping us in new ways. Activities like Mallakhamb, an ancient Indian sport, blend gymnastics, yoga, and strength training, offering a unique path to fitness. Its poses build not just physical strength, but also a sense of tradition and cultural connection. By integrating Mallakhamb into calisthenics routines, individuals can develop not only a stronger core but also a deeper appreciation for the rich tapestry of human movement and tradition.
