I really couldn't give a fuck if somebody wiped out everyone in Israel and Palestine all in one hit. I'm sick of hearing about them. BINGO ! The rest of the world should stay out of it and let these prehistoric thinking assholes destroy themselves and their Bibles, Korans etc These fucks have been at it for Millenia......finish the job and be done with them Another reason why religion is the accepted form of insanity !

It'll never happen for the US or its vassal states as long as AIPAC bankrolls every US Congressman to guarantee Israel's interests & the war pigs keep the dollar solvent by subsidizing its only profitable industrial base by selling war arms or finding another war to fight in.
Dream on......Dream on........*ahhhhhhhhhhh*

Brilliant perspectives by both. I'd be a little more concerned about Israel as there are some brilliant engineering minds in that tiny stretch of land and have had the honor to have met a couple of folks from there. Quite a few US companies have engineering development centers located there for that very reason. And probably one of the most powerful quotes on the subject of religious BS...

Biden, Kerry, the Clintons, Pelosi and on & on are all active members of that organization. Probably #2 (or 1a) would be the close ties George Soros...same guy who literally told key person in the Democratic Party to report to him in Washington DC after Trump won. Not reported in a conspiracy rag, but in the NY Times or Washington Post. (Would have to dig up the reference.) My question is what holds do the Cartels have on the Dems based on what is happening on our southern border? We know China's bankrolled the DNC since the 90s quite overtly --anyone wonder why Bill Clinton signed off on giving high tech to China. Follow the $$$$. The US' ties to Israel go beyond what you're claiming. And "finding another war to fight in". Seriously? There are ongoing conflicts globally which the US, UK, French and other covert forces are involved with.

Great book by Christopher Hitchens...."God is not great" Should be read by all religious people So informative and interesting Have read that book twice. Amazing. Still love this clip...have the movie on DVD and while Maher IMHO doesn't go after Islam and its BS history, especially the lies built around Sharia Law, this segment is perfect. Sooooooooooo many people ignore the facts -- and there are so many more regarding what what was stolen from the Rome, the so-called pagan solstice celebrations, etc., etc.

This probably explains why so many people in communist nations grow up to be so happy and pleased with their lives.

The religion of Communism. Substituting one "belief system" for another. Even the liberal publication the Atlantic pointed this out in the 1930s when the USSR and the NKVD were starting their anti-American campaigns in Chicago, Illinois, NY, etc.

No wink face, mate; serious I am. Perhaps I should have used Marxist.
Would not all organised governments be some form of religion beneath this broad understanding of religion?

I'd agree your statement that many, many gov'ts and/or political philosophies are a form of religion. Antifa, BLM, various other "woke" movements, etc., of late here in the US would probably fit into that.

Nope. <<<<Yup. You'll note the above current progression of comments about Israel made by billfish & BigBruv. My retort was predicated exclusively in response about Israel. Israel will never allow it demise as long as it has a stranglehold on US polity thru AIPAC for the reasons already stated.>>>> Go through and check what every person at the highest levels of the US government currently in power are beholden to: the WEF. (Would have to dig up the reference.) <<<<It's simply another faction lobbying for its own set of interests or feed at the trough. I don't dismiss or deny your above comments as relevant but WEF is unrelated & an entirely different topic to AIPAC who have their own separate agenda which is "Israel 1st" at all costs.>>>> My question is what holds do the Cartels have on the Dems based on what is happening on our southern border? We know China's bankrolled the DNC since the 90s quite overtly --anyone wonder why Bill Clinton signed off on giving high tech to China. Follow the $$$$. <<<<AIPAC donates to most every Congressman. 21 states have enacted laws or policies to drop any contractors who disparage or threaten boycotts against Israel. AIPAC is also famously documented to be caught in several cases of corporate espionage & theft such as Jonathan Pollard & Lawrence Franklin. Remember?.>>>> The US' ties to Israel go beyond what you're claiming. And "finding another war to fight in". Seriously? There are ongoing conflicts globally which the US, UK, French and other covert forces are involved with. <<<<The above paragraph is making a composition fallacy & a straw man argument. Of course all nations act in self interest. I'm not blithely ignorant to the concept of "geo-politics" or "geo-strategic". However, the historical record of America shows she leads the way in constant participation in wars which greatly benefit her arms industry. She also usually gets her vassal states I mean "allies" to go along with these wars of savage peace. Fighting wars to preserve peace or democracy is like saying you're fucking to save virginity anyhow. Finding wars to fight in has been a strong & persistent practice ever since the Johnson Administration manufactured the Gulf of Tonkin Incident of which, by the way, 30k canadians also fought in along with the Koreans & Australians. Tonkin was a prelude to entry into the Vietnam War & 58k Americans died over a big fat lie. 58k is about 4 divisions that got chewed up in 10 years time. That's quite a casualty rate! Lady Byrd Johnson still got an excellent ROI with Bell Helicopter.>>>>
