Yeah well.... All you fuckers going on about this era and that era, what about the neanderthals poor bastards got slaughtered by homo sapiens from africa, probably used a ton of horrible words to describe them like Mammoth head, *Roughly two percent of my genome is Neanderthal according to science.
Any one calls me mammoth head I will be highly offended. Just saying. They now know that all people of Caucasian and Asian ancestry have a small percentage of Neanderthal DNA. Other groups carry the DNA of a Neanderthal 'cousin', an ancient hominin called a Denisovan. There are probably others as well... They're now also pretty sure that the whole 'Out of Africa' theory is probably wrong, and that mankind is a lot older than previously hypothesized.

My sister did a DNA thing many years ago. It concluded that we were very different than the historical records and family stories stated. I know a guy who looks latino or black. His mom was white, red haired Irish and his dad was, as he puts it, "black as the ace of spades". Is his name Barack Obama, the first 'Black' president ?...

My sister did a DNA thing many years ago. It concluded that we were very different than the historical records and family stories stated. She continued to subscribe and gave them our actual records, and now, with their many updates, we are what the records and stories said we were. The person she talked with said the earliest science was something akin to a parlour trick. It's mostly bullshit and guessing. Everyone eventually has a little Irish in them, especially your mum. Curious which brand of test she did, because although the accuracy of these DNA tests is becoming greater and greater, they were never a "parlor trick" in any way, shape, or form. And that "bullshit and guessing" was enough in the way of evidence in a court of law to put a person in jail or make them pay child support. Whoever told your sister that must have been a moron... www.forbes.com/sites/jvchamary/2020/06/30/genetic-genealogy-golden-state-killer/?sh=3cc4b6b75a6d

Yep, I grew up around my Italian and Polish grandparents and can tell you the names of the ships they took to get to the USA and I had a less than 1% European Jewish or some such in my DNA results from Ancestry. Even more surprising was that after the heavily predominant Slavic DNA and the next predominant southern European DNA came a 7% Middle Eastern result which surprised me. Then I thought about how the Ottomans got into eastern Europe and the Moors got into southern Europe and figured my love for hummus and belly dancers came from that. I dunno, according to a few different brands of DNA test results they all came back as 100% Northern and Northwestern Europe, yet I also usually keep some hummus in the fridge and LOVE belly dancers ? *Maybe it stems back from the relations that some of my ancestors had with the Arabs ?... www.thenationalnews.com/world/when-the-arabs-met-the-vikings-new-discovery-suggests-ancient-links-1.125718

"neanderthals poor bastards got slaughtered by homo sapiens from africa"
Homo sapiens didn't come from Africa, we went into Africa. They teach u everything backwards and upside down here. And when those useless neanderthals came around our neighborhoods we used to herd them over the side of a cliff ha ha ha! Splat splat splat splat. That's how we celebrated diversity in the Pleistocene!

Anyone remember "Blazing Saddles"? It's a comedy, did you know? There are lots of movies and media containing the 'n' word. I've possibly used it more in this thread than I have said it in the past 30(?) years or so, and I'm not looking for opportunities to do so. It's actual use is rare in regular conversation. It's more like an inside joke between friends. "Black" folks are as aware and savvy about media-driven-perception trigger words as white or any other human skin color are. If one just goes around blurting it out every time they see a black person, they will probably experience some resistance. It's the intention behind words, familiarity (especially) with the person one is talking with and the context of the conversation that matters. I've not seen it used during topics of serious conversation, except when one black guy is mad at another black guy. There are guys who would be offended if you called them "Sugar" too, depending on the context. Perhaps, one day, we can lay aside our media programming to see "others" as objects, and focus on the character inside rather than the color outside? Don't you think that attacking an ethnic group by calling them "noble savages" or "savages", and then implying that their character is even worse than that, while at the same time be offended at identifying nothing more than skin color with a colloquialism is somewhat of a cognitive disconnect?

Ha! Thanks. No, m8, I didn't know you were black. I figures you were white because we're the ones who seem to have reading comprehension issues.

Your skin color doesn't matter on this forum (as far as I know), but you won't be considered a "person" here if you're not.a member, m8.

Here's the thing, m8, we've had kids(?) with time on their hands come here just to act stupidly and disrespectful. If you do that here, you may be gone. JS
As far as I know the only real "rule" about what we cannot post on this forum is no porn. If there are other limitations, perhaps a list from the mods would be helpful?
I'm not offended by much and have appreciated the hands-off, freedom-of-speech approach that began with Bruce. I feel much better informed on the things that interest us here because of it.

You're a 'religious' guy that should be familiar with the 'Golden Rule' ? Just use that, sprinkled with some additional common sense and kindness...
