Hi brothersteve, Now you’ve got me interested in reading Yogatronic Diet properly! I vaguely remember Mantak Chia (I think) mentioning tapping the sternum to stimulate the thymus into releasing more of the matured T-cells along with bone marrow breathing to boost production. Must find the reference…. If I can find a version of Yogatronic without missing pages I’ll post the link. The link with Dynaflex, I’m not 100% certain as FRY did not use the same method in his yogametrics (at least to my mind, happy to stand corrected if otherwise). I tend to err towards thinking Sinkram was his, as the Sinkram Gutta is a mountain in the Eastern Ghats of India - the oft stated source of FRY’s information. This could be a cheeky reference to the Atlas course if we remember there are also such things as the Atlas Mountains… In fairness, much as I think the book titles were a little bit aimed at the “New Age” I am 100% certain the contents delivers the goods. I have really noticed the difference in my physique over the past year using these methods and they don’t leave me feeling wiped-out afterwards.- I've heard of tapping the sternum and the middle of forehead between the eyebrows. - I'm on the lookout for the missing pages too as they seem to be the ones with the good info rather than just the success story stuff. - I like this stuff as well and have been using tensing/flexing the last 3 or so weeks, putting the bullworkers away for a bit. I've been doing max contractions (like Dynaflex) but not so extreme as I use to about 90-95% and have used hold times from 2 to 15 seconds - the latter with lessening tension and also done sets of Harry Wong style dynamic contraction. of 10-16 reps. I also am taking a day off or 2 inbetween these workouts which makes me feels great and fresh come workout time as I am also getting fasting protocols in and can feel less recooperated.

Maybe someone hid those specific pages because they were TOO good 😆 I’m glad to hear your approach is working well for you, it sounds very sensible.

Some more info. Basically they all say the same thing. Modern living and pollutants, technology, and chemicals in our food, water, and environment have calcified the pineal gland which has created the 'mental fog' most of us live in. The mental controls the body - hormones, etc., and restoring pineal gland to make it useful for us is a great help for our overall health. The problem with focusing deep into the mind stuff (IMO) is some folks go too far and get into things like DMT, a drug to cause hallucinations that those who do it claim euphoric enlightenment Joe Rogan I believe talks this stuff. I agree, keep away from “chemical assistance” especially when the brain is concerned. I know these plant extract drugs are used in traditional rituals in the Amazon, but we do not have the cultural background to cushion the experience these drugs can stimulate.
Quite a few serious practitioners of chi kung warn against keeping energy in the head as this can cause problems.
Occasionally tapping the forehead should be ok though as long as it is not done to excess and is stopped if anything odd starts to happen.

Hmmm....Peter Ragnar in his Physical Invincibility course has an exercise called "vibrating the corner posts" in which you use the heels of your hands to thump the sides of your forehead, ie, draw a line up from between your eye and your temple to find the more-or-less correct area. As I recall this is supposed to be a general tonic of sorts. I haven't done it lately.
Geof Gray-Cobb's "Helping Yourself With Acupineology" has a pineal-stimulating practice, put the thumbs of each hand just in front of your ears, the two little fingers are pressed against the third eye area, the remaining fingers are separated and in contact with the head in a comfortable position...you are supposed to hold this position for two minutes or so. Never done this one myself but there it is.
