Thanks for these! Been trying in my spare time to find them for several years. Found a few over 10 years ago, but the links did not work as they got pulled off the inet.

Hi brothersteve,
You are most welcome!
I think “Yoga Secrets For Extraordinary Health and Long Life” is the most accessible, and includes my favourite The Energy Depot on page 120.
“Yoga for Men Only” has good info on his 2 second isometric pulses (Yogametrics) and some of them really cramp the muscles with the angles he recommends.

Also, In Frank Rudolph Young - OCR Yogametrics Yoga for Men Only, on pages 110-112 is Harry Wong's Dynamic tension/Strength or DVR by Peterson.

I've downloaded 2 yoga books. I'll starting looking through them. Thanks for doing this, Teacup m8.

Glad to help BigBruv 👍
Brothersteve, you are right about the method on pages 110-112. I have Greg Mangan’s VRT book as well and he does this exercise as a bench press. In Pavel’s “Power To The People” on page 105 he does this with a barbell as the Floor Press where he says
“The old fashioned floor press is the poor man's answer to the bench press—every- body has got some floor!” 😉
I find it easier to stress the pecs doing this from a standing position, but sometimes too easy to press too hard and end up with veins in the head pumping away…
Soma-Psychic Power has a really good yogametric for biceps on page 77 “The Biceps Adrenal Tension Exploder” - just love those names!! I find this one hits harder than the Biceps 45 from Yoga For Men Only and has become my new go-to for arms. The “Arm Torso Adrenal Releaser” on page 24 is also pretty neat.

I didn't realise the psychic power book had physical exercises. I imagined that it was all Andy62 style NERVE FORCE and wasn't going to bother with it but I've downloaded it now. Thanks again, m8.

Hi BigBruv, I think FRY chose titles for his books that would appeal to the “New Age” crowd but there are genuinely useful bits in each. I can’t vouch for the Yogatronic Diet but it’s there if anyone finds anything of use in it.

Shortly after I got into working out, about 2-3 years or so, my mom was cleaning out a bunch of old books and I believe one of tem was FRY's Yoga books. She asked me if I wanted it and I flipped through it quick and there were only a few drawings and I had been told by school kids Yoga was for old folks and I said no and she tossed it or gave it away. Too bad.

Just finished The Yogatronic Diet: Amazing New Way to a Youthful Trim Body. I think FRY was way ahead of his time for 1979 talking T-cell injections and not to take many supplements like calcium that can cause more plaque in arteries, etc.. Wonder if any of it was ghost-written. Did note some pages missing; 82, 101, 142, & 226. I wasn't sure if he really wrote Dynaflex, but now I think more that he did as this book also says to drink a quart of milk daily and that he says he started to author bodybuilding courses in 1960 - about when Dynaflex hit the market. Were the Sinkram his too? Maybe.

Hi brothersteve,
Now you’ve got me interested in reading Yogatronic Diet properly! I vaguely remember Mantak Chia (I think) mentioning tapping the sternum to stimulate the thymus into releasing more of the matured T-cells along with bone marrow breathing to boost production. Must find the reference….
If I can find a version of Yogatronic without missing pages I’ll post the link.
The link with Dynaflex, I’m not 100% certain as FRY did not use the same method in his yogametrics (at least to my mind, happy to stand corrected if otherwise). I tend to err towards thinking Sinkram was his, as the Sinkram Gutta is a mountain in the Eastern Ghats of India - the oft stated source of FRY’s information. This could be a cheeky reference to the Atlas course if we remember there are also such things as the Atlas Mountains…
In fairness, much as I think the book titles were a little bit aimed at the “New Age” I am 100% certain the contents delivers the goods. I have really noticed the difference in my physique over the past year using these methods and they don’t leave me feeling wiped-out afterwards.

The SPC-USA Chi course mentions tapping the thymus, I've seen it said somewhere that it gives you a little extra burst of strength, back when I was still using weights I would drum the fingers on the sternum for a few seconds before each set, I believe it gave me an extra rep or two on a pretty consistent basis...hmmm should start doing this again, eh? Normal people work sun to sun, mad scientist's work is never done!
The business of tapping the thymus for more strength may be in a book called "Your Body Doesn't Lie" by John Diamond but I never read that book, only heard about it second hand and I may be mis-remembering...It may have been in Mildred Carter's "Body Reflexology" also, in fact I think that's where I heard of the Diamond book...

Hi Fred, Thanks for the reminder re: SPC. I do wonder if this is one of the ways FRY’s Energy Depot exercise boosts our strength, compression of the muscles near the sternum helping to flush blood in the general area including the thymus.

I just looked at the "look inside" feature on amazon for "Your Body Doesn't Lie" and sure enough the "Thymus Thump" is in there and he says to do it 3-4 times a day. I just put in an order through my library system for this book and after I read it I'll report back to headquarters...
